There is a good sofa, wide-screen TV, free high-speed wi-fi Internet and this area is fully air-conditioned. The sofa can be made into a bed for one extra guest, allowing a capacity of up to 3 people to stay here. The bedroom consists of a comfortable double bed with bedside table and lamps, and an ensuite bathroom, separated by full-length curtains which can be fully closed. The bathroom is clean and modern, with a spacious shower cubicle, heated towel rack and wide washbasin and mirror. Located in this area are several fitted cupboards for storing clothes and other belongings. Between the living area and the kitchen there is a small dining area, with table and chairs, and further on the fully-equipped kitchen. All the necessary cutlery and crockery is provided, as well as cooking utensils for a full self-catering stay if needed. There is a washing machine with dryer and also a dishwasher, as well as a cooker, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, etc. From the kitchen it is possible to access the patio behind the apartment. The main Calçada do Combro street is a very short walk from the apartment, and the famous Tram 28 passes along here at regular intervals. It is also very easy to flag fown a passing taxi on this street, or take a bus to other areas of the city. However, it is just as easy to walk from here to the central tourist areas of Bairro Alto - with its myriad cafés, pubs and restaurants - and Chiado - with its stylish terrace cafés, chic designer shops and great eateries. Google Maps tells us that we can walk to the Praça de Luís Camões, right next to both the Bairro Alto and Chiado, in just 10 minutes, and from close to here you can take the Metro elsewhere, if necessary. Rua Pedro Dias is also very close to the trendy Principe Real area, where there are even more cafés, shops, restaurants and interesting markets, as well as beautiful squares and small parks. Just round the corner, within 3 minutes walk, there is a public (paid) carpark, and at the end of the street there is a good grocery store for all your food and drink needs.
