Room Description: I was looking for a reasonably priced, no less than three star, hotel in Limassol for a quick one week visit to surprise some friends who were staying in a more 'upmarket' abode. I was pleasantly surprised with the Crusader Beach. I have to own up here that I didn't eat in the hotel, there were too many restaurants and bars in the local tourist area to try. The position of the hotel was good for the price, right on the beach as it said. I can honestly say that I had everything I required, post box directly outside, local bus stop into the town right outside, money changing facilities across the road and plenty of local bars and restaurants. My room was clean and supplied all my needs once I had discovered the 'secret' switch for the satellite TV on the headboard! I had a side view of the sea and a sunny balcony. Best of all, as a single traveller I had a double bed and very comfortable it was too. As an independent traveller who designed and booked my own package on the web I even tested the hotel staff by asking them to book me transport to Larnaca airport for my journey home which they did and I was very pleasantly surprised when charged £7.50 cyprus pounds. When out at night I felt safe in the local area which matters to a lone female traveller. I would certainly consider another trip there.
