The area is very peaceful with a stunningly beautiful and unspoilt nature. Only a few minutes´ walk from Hostrup is the charming marina with a maritime atmosphere and a nice café. From Hostrup there are only 5 km to the bird sanctuary Geddal Enge. The natural protected peninsula Kås is located 8 km north. Near Spøttrup there is Vendal High, an approx. 3500 year old burial mound from the Bronze Age. Vendal High is beautifully situated in the countryside, and from the top you have a fantastic view over the fjord, Thyholm and Venø bay. Salling´s nature has a lot of offers.
