The 2 bathrooms are made of Cafe Bahia marble, the nicest marble found in Rio de Janeiro. Designer shower heads and waterfall taps give the bathrooms an even more luxury touch. We used also Cafe Bahia marble in the kitchen, Stove with 4 plates, microwave, big fridge with Freezer and Water spender, coffee machine, Mixer and Toaster. Enough plates, glasses and all you need in the kitchen. The penthouse offers also cleaning 3 to 5 times a week. The bed linens will be changed twice a week, enough fresh towels will be always available in the penthouse. The building entrance is always locked and 24 hours there will be several doormen. At the corner Atlantica taxis pass by all the time. In the nearest neighborhood of the penthouse you will find laundries, internet cafes, gym clubs and about 8 different international restaurants. There is a refundable security deposit due upon arrival. The amount will vary depending on the property you choose. This amount will show in the terms and conditions as well as in the booking flow. After checkout, the manager will refund the deposit once the unit is inspected and found to have no damage. ** Important ** To complete your booking, you MUST register at https://www.homescheckin.com to complete your reservation and access your check-in instructions. Property ID: 68180 When signing in, use the Property ID above, your Check-in Date and your Last Name. TERMS AND CONDITIONS You are responsible for returning the apartment in the same condition that you received it. Please make sure dishes, pots, and pans are cleaned and put away. Please take out all trash and throw down the garbage chute in the hallway. The cleaning fee you paid is for normal cleaning, sanitizing, vacuuming, dusting and laundry. If additional cleaning is necessary then you will be charge an extra $20US. You are responsible for any damages to the apartment. Tenant agrees to accept liability for any damages caused to the property by Tenant or Tenant?s guests. If damage occurs, Tenant agrees to compensate Gringo Management, LLC for all the costs to repair or replace the damaged items. You are responsible for the towels and linens in the apartment. Towels and Linens are very expensive in Rio. If any are missing or stained we need to charge you for replacement. Towels are R15 each and linens are R50 each. The Property Manager is not responsible for any lost or stolen property or damages. You are 100% responsible for your property. The apartments are safe but you are responsible for your own property. No Pets and No smoking in the apartments. The owners do not permit smoking or pets inside the apartments. If it is discovered that you have violated this rule there is a $100US fine and you may be asked to leave the apartment. Checkout time is by 12 noon. We understand that most flights are after 6PM. If you would like to stay past 12 noon this is considered "Late Checkout" and the charge is an extra 1/2 day. Please advise us when you make the reservation if you would like to book late checkout or noon time checkout will be assumed. Checkout procedure - When you leave the apartment please turn off the a/c, lights, leave your cell phone rental on a bed or table, lock the door and give the keys to the doorman on the way out. If you ride with our driver Bruno you can pass the keys to him. No Noise or Loud Parties - Our apartments are located in upscale residential buildings with upper class Brazilian families and professionals. Please respect your neighbors. Have a good time, but please keep the noise down. Especially after 9PM when folks are going to sleep. We do not want complaints. Use of Air Conditioner - We ask that you please turn off the a/c when you are not in the apartment. The units get extremely hot and can catch fire if not given a rest. If it is discovered that you are leaving the a/c on when you are not inside the apartment then you will be charged an extra $5US a day. Complaints - If you have any problems or issues with the apartment, please contact me immediately via email or phone. Please do not wait until you get back from vacation to let me know about issues. Email me as they happen so we can remedy the situation.
