The decor has been done in a fashionable bohemian style and includes original artwork as well as copies. When you enter the apartment, you arrive directly in the living room and dining room area and will no doubt appreciate the light that comes into this room. This is a cosy Paris holiday let which is ideal for a couple but if you need a second sleeping space, there is a sofa for your use. The dining table is very smart and compact. It can folded in half, to take up less space. To open it fully, simply move the table leg and flip the top open and you have a table double the original size. The newly renovated kitchen, also located off of the living area, is small and compact but has all of the amenities you would need including a combination washing machine with built in dryer. You can see a list of the kitchen amenities above. As there are so many food shops in the area, you may find yourself simply having breakfast in the mornings and then exploring the wonderful, culinary treats in the neighbourhood. With your back to the entry door, the bedroom is the room directly to your left. The bedroom overlooks a quiet one-way street below so you can sleep soundly without any noise from the street. As this Paris vacation apartment has a lot of natural light, there are dark curtains you can shut in this room should you wish to wake up leisurely. For your convenience, we have a wardrobe and chest of drawers to store your personal belongings. With your back to the entry door, directly across from you is the bathroom which has a shower as well as a sink. There is a separate heater in this room to help take the chill out of a cold morning. The WC is conveniently located in a room just beside the sofa. This Paris vacation apartment is located on the upper part of rue Durantin, close to rue Lepic. The street is always very quiet, regardless of which end of Durantin you are at, but it is especially peaceful here. Security Deposit: 200 A security deposit if required, is used to cover excessive use of electricity (e.g. air condition on full with external doors left open), excessive cleaning costs, and also covers damage, breakage and loss to any of the property contents. The Deposit must be paid by CC The security deposit less any such charges will be refunded by bank transfer or check, as soon as the Management Company has completed its inventory and occupancy report. Usually refunded within 28 days after your departure from the property. For check in/out before 8:30 or after 20:30, special arrangements will need to be made and there is a charge of 50 Euros. This fee should be paid in Euros/cash only directly to your greeter when you arrive at your Paris vacation apartment. -It is important to realise that renting a Paris vacation apartment is not the same as renting a hotel room. You are staying around regular people who live and work in Paris. As a result, you may hear the noise of someone walking above you or other noises related to regular residents. For the most part, there is rarely excessive noise but it can happen from time to time that someone may have a party or friends over later than normal. In this case, the polite thing to do after 22:00 is to knock on the neighbour's door and ask them nicely to be a bit quieter. -The security deposit will also be applied to long distance telephone calls not included in the apartment's phone plan as well as the loss of keys and/or damage of locks. Please do not leave keys in the back of the door inside the apartment. We will then need to call a locksmith to gain access and you will be resposinble for these charges. -Although our rates include cleaning after you depart, if the Paris vacation apartment is not left in a reasonably tidy state, we will apply part or all of your security deposit toward the extra cost of cleaning.
