We were meeting up with friends in Southampton over the weekend and looked at many bed and breakfast establishments prior to booking the Eversley Guest House. The reviews on Tripadvisor were very complimentary and we hoped that the guest house would live up to our expectations. Well it certainly did, we could not have been more delighted with our stay at this lovely B & B. We had a warm welcome from the hosts when we arrived and were shown to a lovely large bedroom with an ensuite shower room. There was a varied hospitality tray with the usual tea,coffee and biscuits in our room, in addition to this there was bottled water and on the landing there was fresh milk in a fridge if you prefer that in your tea in the morning. Also a plate of home-made muffins were available to nibble on if you choose to do so. The breakfast was outstanding, we have stayed in many hotels around the country and this has to be right there at the top. The home-made bread was delicious, the cooked breakfast just so nice, to include lovely buttery mushrooms and quality thick bacon slices along with really tasty sausages and yummy black pudding. We will without a doubt return to this top-class establishment. There was nothing that we could criticise about this guest house, which is very unusual as there is usually something that you pick up on and say they could do better, well there is nothing they could've done better. Give the Eversley Guest House a try you won't be disappointed.

“This B & B is a gem !!”

We have just stayed for one night at The Eversley to be close to the port for a ship visit. What a fantastic find. Everywhere is so fresh and clean and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast cooked by Howard. We have just stayed for one night at The Eversley to be close to the port for a ship visit. What a fantastic find. Everywhere is so fresh and clean and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast cooked by Howard. The bowl of fresh raspberries and strawberries were delicious. Nina has put the perfect finishing touches to their establishment. We stayed in room 4 which overlooked the back garden and was very comfortable and included a sofa. We highly recommend this B & B. Far better than any chain of hotel! Very good value.

again four of us stayed the night before our cruise i cannot say enough good things about our stays here spotlessly clean unfortunately we missed Howard and Nina this time they were on holiday but looking after the house for them was John and Linda who were also great hosts I think Howard my be loosing his crown to John regarding the cooked breakfast I will let them decide between them who is the best cook we would not consider staying anywhere else when we are in Southampton
