“Another lovely holiday at Gran Hotel Reymar, Tossa de Mar”

Just returned home from our second holiday spent at Gran Hotel Reymar in beautiful Tossa de Mar. Its well worth paying the extra for a sea view as it has one of the best locations in Tossa and we spent time on the balcony over looking the beautiful wooded coast line and beaches on most early mornin… Daha çok

Just returned home from our second holiday spent at Gran Hotel Reymar in beautiful Tossa de Mar. Its well worth paying the extra for a sea view as it has one of the best locations in Tossa and we spent time on the balcony over looking the beautiful wooded coast line and beaches on most early mornings with a coffee and evenings with a night cap! Once again we found all the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, from the cleaners and gardeners to bar and restuarant staff to all the reception staff ( special thanks to Olivia in particular who was always ready with a smile and helpful and knowledgeable advice ). We stayed on half board, with breakfast being a buffet, but dinner was table service which we really appreciated. The dining room has great sea views from most tables and felt far more relaxing with only the waiters moving around than all the guests getting up and down to fetch drinks and food from a buffet. That said if you book half board you can also swap dinner for a buffet lunch if you wish. I counted over a hundred sun beds, many of which have views over the sea and beach, although hotel beach towels are an extra charge, so you may wish to bring your own. The pool is a good size for lap swimming, with changing rooms, a hot tub and showers indoors and out. We`re already looking at dates to return next year.

“Hotel Reymar simply the best.”

After our recent stay at the Grand Reymar, we cannot praise this hotel and the staff enough. The hotel is located in a fabulous position on the beach front overlooking a gorgeous sandy bay with amazing views and only a comfortable 10 minute walk away to the centre and the many shops and restaurants… Daha çok

After our recent stay at the Grand Reymar, we cannot praise this hotel and the staff enough. The hotel is located in a fabulous position on the beach front overlooking a gorgeous sandy bay with amazing views and only a comfortable 10 minute walk away to the centre and the many shops and restaurants. The hotel and the rooms were immaculate and kept spotlessly clean. The staff are super friendly and always extremely helpful and are always there if you need anything. The pool area is excellent with superb views over the bay and the old walled town of Tossa de mar, as are the outside seating areas. Our room was immaculate with newly fitted modern bathroom and the room itself was beautifly decorated with excellent facilities. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices and the food quality was excellent and plentiful with both hot food and continental choices, lots of fresh fruits and yoghurts, with a big selection of delicious pastries and breads. We are already planning another holiday at the Grand Reymar arguably the best hotel in Tossa.. and cant wait for next year. An amazing hotel and fabulous staff.

“A mixed experience.”

Nice hotel with spacious areas and in a good location. Well appointed and very clean with nice decor. Plentiful sunbeds, however no parasols and only a limited shaded area. Nice hotel with spacious areas and in a good location. Well appointed and very clean with nice decor. Plentiful sunbeds, however no parasols and only a limited shaded area. Mixed experience with catering. 1st night dinner - rabbit stew, beef (which was actually pork - explantion was a translation error!) or some non-descriptive fish. Very little in vegetarian options which just about amounted to salad. Other nights Ok but no better than average. Nice friendly staff on the whole but had issues with a couple of senior individuals who were dismissive and rude. The head waiter blew a fit when a couple brought into the restaurant a bottle of Cava given by the hotel and having been told at reception that it was permissable. He demonstrably threw his pen and order pad across the desk and stormed off to reception. In the meantime an embarrassed waiter opened the bottle and served it. An Embarrassing display from an unpleasant man. Receptionist tried to charge us for a bottle of wine we had never ordered when we paid our room bill. No apology when proved her wrong but another receptionist tried again next morning when we checked out. Almost incinuated we were liars! So these 2 need retraining in customer care and interface as they are currently un fit for purpose and spoil the reputation of an attractive hotel. As a footnote I used to manage a team of accommodation inspectors for a national tourist board and would have had an issue with the hotel management.
