“Ideal location for the pistes”

We booked via Crystal and I did plenty of research first. The rooms are small if you use full occupancy. We had three in a one bedroom apartment for up to 5 people. With one sleeping in the lounge it was perfect. The room was clean and I would advise bringing lots of bits, including; towels, tea towel, toilet paper, condiments, pasta, rice, cereal etc. if you have room. It is expensive to buy there and will cut costs. Check in was easy, and you are required to confirm an inventory and then leave the apartment, clean as you found it, with kitchenware laid out on the table to be counted. To be honest it was simple, and there were plenty of cups, plates etc. for the three of us. There was only a hob and a microwave, but we coped. The internet was great on our own UK phone data, and we hot spotted to our iPads. We could ski within a few metres of the entrance then had a shallow slope to walk up and could plonk our skis on the balcony. The view from our room was lovely, over the mountains, and the apartment was a one minute walk to the Spar shop, for groceries, and about a three minute walk to the centre, where there is a bigger Spar shop and lots of restaurants, gift shops etc. The centre was lovely at night, and had character. Ideally located for the whole of La Plagne, I will definitely go to this resort again and recommend La Licorn, as long as there aren’t lots of people in one apartment and you want a cheaper skiing experience. The lady on reception was very helpful too.

This hotel is in a great location in belle plagne, we were able to ski in and out of the hotel, the apartment we had was for 2-4 people and was equipped enough for us as there was only two of us. This hotel is in a great location in belle plagne, we were able to ski in and out of the hotel, the apartment we had was for 2-4 people and was equipped enough for us as there was only two of us. Would not recommend this size apartment for more than two as it wouldn’t be big enough. The apartment was clean and everything in good working order, the only thing wrong was the fact they do not have a boot room or lockers so ski equipment had to stay in the apartment and the beds were in a tiny alcove by the front door so could sometimes be noisy but on the whole was a great choice for the money and our main plan was to ski all day so it was perfect for us. The spar shop is a two minute walk away and restaurants and bars not much further and it has easy access for everything you need and the view was great from the balcony. would recommend and go back in the future
