Visited June 2026 for a short one-night family trip to the zoo. We were traveling as four adults so we had two rooms (one on floor 10; one on floor 7). Parking was self-park and very convenient/secure with doors that go right into the hotel from the garage. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We had a slight snag with one of the rooms and it was taken care of quickly and to our complete satisfaction. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everything was spotless. The refrigerator did not seem to be cooling, so that was a downside. We had a cooler, so I didn’t bother about it. There are wonderful blackout curtains so the room gets very dark, despite the surrounding area. The hotel is locating in an ideal location close to shops and dining. There is a fun candy shop/pinball arcade museum/vinyl shop (and much more) right across the street. Bring quarters. It’s a fun place! I won’t go into all the options for dining and shopping, but I will write a separate review for our favorite, Shucks Fish House, which is also super close by. If you are coming for the zoo, you are 5 minutes away. We will definitely come back and stay again!

“My favorite get-away, The Hyatt and Omaha Old Market”

I love the Old Market area of Omaha so the Hyatt puts you right where you can enjoy all of it on foot. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I love the Old Market area of Omaha so the Hyatt puts you right where you can enjoy all of it on foot. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Rooms are well arranged, bed comfortable and pillows are perfect. I love the shower, great water pressure. Rooms are clean. I felt the rate was a bit high. I did ask for that east view and an upper floor, plus I was charged $25 a night to park in the garage.

“College World Series”

Very pricey! Staff was nice and everything was within walking distance or a short uber or bike ride. Breakfast is a nice offer saves a little money.

Hotel was centrally located in the Old Market area - very walkable, and lots of shops and restaurants to visit. Ramp parking was nice to have, and for our stay, it was comped as the pool was closed. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, as there was only 1 hot option - scrambled eggs. Staff was very helpful throughout our stay. I liked the fact that there was no carpeting in our room, and the sectional couch was comfortable for our adult son.
