“Clean, quiet, practical, comfortable”

We stayed at this Apparthotel for 5 nights. The hotel was quite difficult to find at first, and they have a system of entrance based on a code. We stayed at this Apparthotel for 5 nights. The hotel was quite difficult to find at first, and they have a system of entrance based on a code. We tried our code, which we had received by email, but it didn't work (they had changed it since our reservation, without letting us know the new one). Apart from this, we had a really nice stay at the hotel, the room was very spacious and clean (but nobody comes to clean during the stay), the furniture was new or in a very good condition, the kitchen was pretty well equipped, and they provided us with a bottle of water, and tea and coffee for 2, which I thought it was very nice and thoughtful. There were toiletries in the bathroom, and the place was quiet, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. We spent little time in the room, since we were out from morning until late at night, but as long as we stayed there, we felt very comfortable. Also, the lady from the reception was very kind and helpful. The price is also reasonable, at least compared to other places in Provence. I definitely recommend it!

“Good value for money but not in the hot months”

We had a short 2-night stay months ago. The room was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly. The location is easy to find. Given the competitive price, it is rather ideal for budget travelers. However, the room didn't have air-conditioning so it may not be a good choice for the hot months.

We arrived here after spending a long time driving around trying to find the building. It is quite far from the town centre,too far to walk so when you want to eat in town you have to drive and parking in Manosque can be an issue. It was Sunday when we arrived and the building is not staffed so there is a system of codes to allow access to your room. We had had a long journey and were looking forward to having a rest so we were horrified to find that the room we had was dirty. It hadn't been cleaned after the previous occupents and there was nobody there to help. After going back to the reception we found a phone number to call if in trouble. That was fine but we had to use our own mobile to call (it's a UK mobile). I explained our problem to the person who answered and he told me he would call me back with a solution to the problem. In due time he did so and we were able to access another room. Soon after taking possession of this second room, we discovered that the toilet flush wasn't working. I really didn't feel like phoning again so we decided to remain in the room until the following day when we could speak to somebody face to face. We managed until the following morning when the receptionist allocated us yetvanother room and gave us a free breakfast for the inconvenience. After that, things went more smoothly but our stay had been somewhat spoilt. I like the convenience of having my room cleaned, towels replaced and toilet rolls replenished during my stay and this service wasn't provided here. For us, the hotel was poorly situated just far enough away from the town to cause a problem eating out. I found the room rather small and it was hot, having no air conditioning. There was a fan which helped cool the room. To be honest, I was rather glad to move on to our next destination. This lodging is basic and I can see it suiting younger people who don't mind roughing it a bit. We prefer to have a bit of comfort when we stay away. However, it is relatively inexpensive and the bed was large and comfortable. Even so, I don't think it is either a hotel or a town we would stay in again.
