“Very pleasant place to stay”

This was a quiet, spacious apartment, very comfortable and clean. Good kitchenette. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Good location, easy walk to all the places you want to go.

“Very Nice but Needs A/C”

In the afternoon in summer, the sun is intensive and room gets extremely hot, even with black out shades down. Otherwise, very nice - lovely view of water, good bed and bathroom, 10 walk to town (although steppe hill on return to motel. Only complaint is why we had to pay a NZ$2.53 booking fee.

We had a nice upstairs corner room with a view for our one-night stay. It was a nicely furnished, immaculate Queen with a separate living room and kitchenette, which we didn’t realize we had chosen.* The property was an easy downhill walk to downtown Queenstown – of course, that means you have to walk up hill on the way back. Staff quickly checked us in -- we were lucky to get an early check in on a Sunday after 24 hours in transit. Upon checking out, we stored our luggage there until we had to leave for the airport. There was even a bathroom and shower available if we needed it. Please note that there is no elevator and you will need to manage bringing your own luggage up the stairs or down the path. *Another friend noted her room wasn’t as nice.

Not a bad location. Rooms could definitely be improved. We had a sleepless night because one window did not have a blackout blind. The kitchen window had one, but the back door which also has a window didn’t. The outside light was on all night, which made it very difficult to sleep. I mentioned this to reception, and hopefully they were out of line for the benefit of future guest.
