It had road noise because the window was open to plumb in the exhaust hose from a portable air conditioner. Gaps in the sealing let in some road noise. It is now after cooling season, so I suggested taking the hose out and closing the window. That will keep the room quieter and let people fully close the blinds. Like many 1990s buildings, the rooms had no central lighting. So, the main room and the bathroom are a bit dark. In the next renovation, it would be good to provide more power sockets. I had to unplug the fridge and microwave, then balance the coffee maker precariously on top of the portable AC to plug it in. Few sockets for our devices. Good coffee shop across the road!
