“Great place above Salzburg to eat and stay...”
One of the last tourist secrets of Salzburg. An inexpenisive place to stay and eat with a premium view of the heart of Salzburg. It's a 20 min walk to Stadtalm, reachable from almost all directions (Dom, Altstadt, Festspielhaus, Mülln,...) You will love it....

“Worth a Visit for a Meal or Even to Stay”
Although it can be hard to find your way up to this little guesthouse on the top of the Salzburg Moenchsberg, it is worth the trip. Great view over the city, especially in the evening. Typical Austrian fare. You can even book a bed in the dorm style hostel. No AC.

“Average hospitality but awesome view”
Gorgeous view of Salzburg and the fort. However, the service was slow and the staff weren’t very attentive. My apple strudel was average too. Bit of a tourist trap but you pay for the enjoyment of having a nice view whilst eating and drinking.

“small room with bunk beds, nice view of the city”
It took us more than an hour to find the way to reach this hostel. Asked many peoples and most of them didn't know about this place. It is located on the hill (mountain) close to the Museum of Modern Art. Two ways to reach there, either by the lift to the museum or climb 150+ steps on the side of … Fler
