“Nice, simple, "green" hotel in the country side”

I stayed at the SPES hotel for two nights (Saturday and Sunday) while on a business trip in November. It is a beautiful area in a nice small town. Check in was easy and quick and most of the staff knew English and were very friendly. There is a relatively flat walking trail at the far end of the parking lot and a few steep trails up behind the hotel. You can also walk into town. The was some kind of emergency responder conference there on Saturday so there were many people there and a large dinner (I did not eat there.) On Sunday we were the only guests so they locked up the hotel (we could get in and out) and we used the honor system at the bar and went into town for dinner. The included breakfast had a good variety and overall very good. They offered to cook anything we wanted on Monday morning. My room was on the second floor and had a balcony with a great view out the front of the hotel. The only issue was my room was near the two conference rooms and they could see right into my room unless I pulled the drapes. The room is on the small side but was nice and everything was clean. The room had an actual key and I never seemed to guess which way to turn it the first time. There was a guide to the hotel in the room and it has a section in English. They have an emphasis on being a “green” hotel. The king-sized bed was comfortable. There was a small TV, but no channels in English. There is also a writing desk, some shelves and drawers, a shelf for a suitcase, and a small closet. The room was heated with radiators that you can adjust. There is one in the main room and another in the bathroom, allowing you to keep it warmer in there. The water in the shower was hot and the pressure was good. The room was too warm for me to sleep, even with both radiators all the way off. They ask that you not keep a window open, but I needed to at night or I would not have been able to sleep. There was a hair dryer provided, the wi-fi was ok, but no safe, coffee setup, or iron. Overall this is a nice little hotel in the countryside next to a large wooded area with good trails and a small little town. I would consider staying here again, but not on business unless I was attending a seminar there

“Clean and quiet”

A decent hotel with a beautiful view of the valley. The rooms are clean, and while a bit small they have everything you need. The breakfast selection was good , but some of the selections were a bit dried out. The staff was friendly and helpful.

O check-in e boas-vindas: equipe amigável, o check-in foi rápido e suave Quarto: bom, design moderno, excelente vista da varanda, mas a cama, o qual é apenas para uma pessoa, é realmente muito pequena (eu pensei que eu iria cair para fora da cama ao passo que adormeça) O café-da-manhã: boa seleção e escolha Almoço e jantar: embora o preço do menu é baixa, a qualidade poderia ser melhor, não gostei especialmente do main courses Área de Bar: pessoal muito simpático, boa selecção de vinhos ao copo para muito preços razoáveis Seminário: bom e moderno, e a comida e bebidas durante seminário foram soso, vista da sala de seminários do 3º andar foi surpreendente Check-out: correu suave e rápida

“Probably a perfect conference centre but very average as hotel.”

First of all; beautiful location. After a 5 minutes wait at the reception we had to go and hunt for a receptionist to check in. We got a room in a connecting building that was quit poor. First of all; beautiful location. After a 5 minutes wait at the reception we had to go and hunt for a receptionist to check in. We got a room in a connecting building that was quit poor. Luckily it was not to hot that time because AC was missing. Bathroom was very basic and certainly not up to 4 stars standard. Water had to run for 5 minutes before it got hot, and yes, there was an excuse note for that in the room. The restaurant was not available for dinner. The sauna at the top floor deserves high recommendation. Nice complete breakfast with delicious local juices.After all, not bad for a stop over in Austria.
