This secluded but very close to the town square (4-6 minute car ride or a 15-20 minute walk), it is very colonial, quiet, and just beautiful. the food is great, the overall customer service is outstanding, but Carlos' level of customer service and dedication is what can be expected only at a 5 star hotel. I stayed there with my family, and we all enjoyed the view, the tranquility, the fire place and coziness of it all.

“Beautiful mountain retreat!”

My only regret is not spending more time here. This is a fantastic little hotel up in the mountains of Santa Elena above Medellin. Beautiful colonial farm house. My only regret is not spending more time here. This is a fantastic little hotel up in the mountains of Santa Elena above Medellin. Beautiful colonial farm house. The rooms are cozy and heated by a fireplace (wood included), and it is a little chilly at night. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. the inner courtyard serves the dining area, and a TV is in the shared sitting room. Good wifi. It is not in the city nor that close to the airport (sort of half-way between), so it isn't a convenience stay. Come here to enjoy the area. It's about 1.5km to the tiny village of Santa Elena, with a church and restaurants, and about 12km to the Parque Arvi. The hotel serves breakfast (included), lunch and dinner (extra) if you don't want to venture out. The food was great, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I came with a bicycle and explored the area that way. Your exploration options may be limited without some sort of vehicle, though it is very easy to get there by taxi, and they will arrange transport to the airport. Massages/spa packages are offered that I did not try. Good spot to just escape from the city for a couple of nights. The room doors are locked with padlocks, so if you keep the key, no housekeeping service. I'm sure they'd come service the room if you ask. i wasn't there long enough to need much.

I will say this! If you want peace and quiet with an old hacienda charm, then Casa Mosaico is the place for that long getaway in a mountain setting. I'll start with the accommodations. The rooms were charming. The service impeccable and the food- Natural and organic, from Breakfast to lunch and dinner for a finish. The food was tasty and at a super price that even food critics would write home about. I recommend that the traveler along with family with family will have an unforgettable experience at the quaint and lovely boutique hotel. A grateful Latin American.

I could not define it exactly--the thing I felt about this place call Casa Mozaico. But I could feel it and it warmed my soul.From the moment we arrived we where greated by jessica who made sure everything was perfect, The rest of the staff was so polite and professional that it made our stay amazinly beautiful. I suppose you could say there was a distinctive kind of Spirit in this place. Yes, I'm sure there was. It was the spirit of kindness, patience, loveliness, beauty, and love itself. The thought occurred to me as I left, that to these people Heaven itself would not be strange when they went there, because they had a corner of it right on earth.
