“Brilliant”

I stayed here from the 23rd of September 2025 for 11 nights. I highly recommend this hotel. The owners cannot do enough for you. If you need something, they will do it for you. Location is perfect. Having stayed here several times previously I knew exactly what I was getting! It’s typically Greek, very basic and yes there are some dated issues, however I didn’t pay for 5 star quality I paid for simple self catering in Greece and most important thing for me is clean bed and shower (not expecting a top of the range power shower either!) towels and bedding are lovely and white. Kitchen unit has 2 electric rings, kettle, toaster, cutlery. Lovely sized balcony with washing line, table and chairs. The pool is very clean and snack bar has great selection on the menu and reasonable prices. The food is of good quality, good portion and lovely presentation. Claire is amazing and great customer service, friendly and helpful. Dimitri is a great character and likes a laugh and joke. Great location with handful of bars, restaurants and supermarkets on the door step. Lots of repeat customers as it ticks lots of boxes. It’s basic and budget but full of character and charm- just what I look for in visiting Greece. Yes I would return here without a shadow of a doubt! Keep up the good work Blue Diamond and Dimitri giving out his Ouzo as he cranks up “that’s Amore” xx

This is an intimate, family run, suite of approx 20 apartments - set just across a minor road from the cleanest, clearest sea!!!!. It was perfect for us - a family of 3 looking for an inexpensive self catering holiday with a wide range of tours, and nearby eatery options and sandy beaches. Owners Claire and Dimitri were both very friendly, welcoming and helpful and the cleaning and maintenance staff were pleasant and very efficient. Our studio apartment, whilst small, was mostly sufficient to our needs - a little more work space in the kitchenette area would have helped - but not a big enough issue to impact our overall experience...9/10. Thanks Blue Diamond for a great holiday and base!

After reading the reviews and a 2 star rating i was expecting what I've experienced in the past with 2 star however this hotel does have some issues. The staff mainly Clare was fabulous but the hotel as others have said before still needs repair work in certainly our room 8 . Arrived early hours and let ourselves in to the room to a musty smell and the bathroom fan and light had been left on i presume to vent the room. Old furniture and decor and a tired kitchenette. The issues that concerned me was a couple of 6" metal pipes sticking out of the slippery floor and in the corner of the room could be a problem if someone slips over on the wet floor. The shower head wall attachment had broken screww thread so was balancing in its holder. The shower curtain rail had a chain hanging down with the fixing screw and plug dangling from where it has been pulled out of the ceiling. The rail was kind of supported with another cord but the old one not removed and just dangled there. I feel that this hotel is ok if you want somewhere just to kip as we did as we were out most of the time. Also there was some sewer pipe smell in the corner of the pool area and somebody came to unblock it . I think the owner just fixes things when broken but needs modernization badly. I know others have enjoyed their stay here and had a great time like we did but new clients need to know what its really like. As i said earlier Clare is lovely and works hard and helpful but its just let down by the room quality. Even some fresh paint in the room with maybe some greek theme and a general refurb would make a big difference. We arrived on the Saturday and only saw the cleaner once and towels and sheets not changed. I haveadded pics.
