Rooms were dated as far as the bathroom and windows go. Had a digital wide-screen TV but I had to unplug it to charge my phone. There were two other outlets, one at the foot of the bed and one in the bathroom. The window has a black-out blind, so that was nice. Room was very quiet as it faced a tiny courtyard and not the street. Queen bed was two twins pushed together, not uncommon but the mattresses kept shifting and in the end I wound up with a lower back spasm relapse. Pillows were fine. Bathroom was tiny and I kept hitting the bidet with the door. Shower was fine. Probably wouldn't stay again.

The hotel was ok, but nothing great. The room was functional and gave me a place to sleep while I enjoyed San Rafael. The hotel was ok, but nothing great. The room was functional and gave me a place to sleep while I enjoyed San Rafael. I was a little bit disappointed in the map provided on the hotel's website- it appears that there are only a couple of streets between the bus terminal and the hotel, but in reality there are more streets that aren't shown. I should have used a mapping program to double check. The night before my departure I asked for a taxi to be called to take me to the bus station. It was a good thing that I got downstairs early and asked about it, because the night staff member hadn't bothered to read the notes in the book and hadn't made arrangements. This was a good value for the price, but nothing to write home about.
