The hotel was clean and comfortable and well situated for trips into Prague or, if you have a car, further afield. There are buses to the Metro station at both ends of the street. The hotel was clean and comfortable and well situated for trips into Prague or, if you have a car, further afield. There are buses to the Metro station at both ends of the street. The owner was friendly and welcoming as were his staff. Breakfasts were excellent. There is a pool and a DIY barbecue. Kees took over the hotel in January 2015 and has undertaken substantial renovations so reviews from 2014 and earlier should be disregarded. He is Dutch and speaks English and German. The one slight disappointment was that the restaurant was not open in the evenings even though the facility was advertised. However, there are a couple of good and cheap restaurants within walking distance and there is a well-stocked bar.

The hotel was the perfect place for the combination of a city break and relaxed touring of the surrounding countryside. The staff were all lovely and the new owner couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. We were very well looked after. The room was spacious and comfortable; the pool was a delight, especially after a hot day's sightseeing and it was lovely to be able to sit outside in the evening (there's even a massive BBQ should you want to cater for yourself). It is a bit outside of town but the bus into Prague goes from the end of the road and there is plenty of parking should you have a car as we did.

Excellent and friendly service. Charming hotel at quiet location; pieceful basis for trips into the lively old town of Prague. Located in an outskirt on top of a hill; magnificent view from the roof terrace. Food is superb. Being vegetarians my wife and I were daily pleasantly surprised by the chef. We veggies were served at the same time as our non-veggie travelmates, which is a rare exception in hotel world! WiFi is free and fast, even in the rooms. A salutary experience for me, being a business guy with own (hectic) company in the Netherlands. My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend this friendly place at a quiet location and will definitely be back!
