This hotel situated on the outskirts of Santander - about 10 mins in the local train the station (Bezana) for which is some 4 mins walk from the hotel, or if driving about 15 mins from the Ferry Terminal in Santander. Careful with SatNav. The address given as Barrio Bogar 2 is incorrect this location is actually a disused barn overlooking the Hotel on the other side of the road. Try Ctra. Palencia - Santander National Route N611 - The Hotel is on the Right just after the roundabout. .Recently refurbished the hotel offered a very well appointed room, with comfortable beds, and good WIFi. The recent refurbishment included a second layer of double glazing (quadruple glazing?) so whilst the room overlooked a small stream and the adjacent Motorway it was quiet and gave a good nights rest. The ensuite shower room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was typical of many Spanish hotels - Cereals, fruit assorted breads and pastries, cold meats and cheese with assorted hot and cold drinks.

We came of a ferry running late because of bad weather. We were arriving after dark. If you use GPS ignore the route given and go to the main signposted dock exit. We came of a ferry running late because of bad weather. We were arriving after dark. If you use GPS ignore the route given and go to the main signposted dock exit. This puts you on the motorway and the sat nav will take you from there. It takes about 15 minutes. We found it in the dark. The hotel is small. the rooms are quite large, clean and comfortable. There is a lift for getting bags upstairs. The hotel is in a street overlooking green fields.There is a brilliant restaurant opposite. We had a comfortable nights sleep before getting on the nearby motorway for our journey. Breakfast can be got at the bar.

Booked this last minute at a reasonable price. Do not follow sat nav directions once in the village as the hotel is on the Main Street you can’t miss it. Rooms are basic but clean. Booked this last minute at a reasonable price. Do not follow sat nav directions once in the village as the hotel is on the Main Street you can’t miss it. Rooms are basic but clean. Do not pay for breakfast as it is a waste of money. Note that no one in the hotel speaks a single word of English, which is pretty much the same throughout the village. The staff were very helpful and polite. Walk all the way through the village to the sports bar which is excellent and serves great food.

This hotel is typical representation of average outskirts cheap hotel. You would probably not go there while on holiday with family, you would not go there while on business trip if there's a chance there will be a debate about accomodation with your business partner, but if you need just to sleep for a reasonable price and stay as close as possible to Santander's city center - this might your choice, and a good one in my opinion. Rooms are small, but clean and well equiped. Breakfasts are very basic. Window view would probably be to some not appealing areas - like the driveway, but as I stated above - this really isn't holiday hotel. Wi-Fi connection works well. Overall: 70 %
