İ stayed Zalifre hotel at Safranbolu during my visit to Turkey, it is a very quite and nice hotel, rooms are big staff is great, breakfast is very good, it is close to every where in Safranbolu, i recomend this place 100%

BASICS: Safranbolu is mainly visited by Turks. Once more international tourists come, amenities (especially bathrooms) will improve. If staying in a local B&B or renovated konak isn't your thing, Zalifre is the best choice matching what tourists look for in a hotel. The hotel is approx. 1 1/2 miles from the old city. Restaurants are within walking distance. I looked at several rooms available--very clean and neat. Free wi-fi that worked well. With a three-start rating, Zalifre offers 6 suites, 53 standard rooms, and 126 beds. All rooms have a/c, tv, minibar, direct phone, and bathroom with shower. There is 24-hour room service, safety deposit box, dry-cleaning/ironing, wake-up service, and restaurant open for three meals (with bar). ROOM: #217 Bedroom with a separate corner sitting room (& balcony). The rooms are not cheery and by U.S. standards feel tired, but the flavor of Safronbolu is present. This "suite" was comfortable. Bedroom: A queen bed with side tables. Each side has a plug for electronic charging. A cupboard houses suitcase gear and a tv is on the wall opposite the bed. The lighting (always my bug-a-boo) is dim with two wall sconces flanking the bed, certainly not for reading but adequate to find yourself around in the night. Slippers are provided. The bed is comfortable. Sitting Room: A corner room with adequate windows, divan (sofa), desk, tv, minibar, tea-maker and tea sits on minibar,and a balcony door with window. Three outlets above the minibar for electronics plus behind the sofa is the switch for two sconces with a brighter light than the bedroom and two more outlets. You're not for want of outlets for your electronic gadgets. Bathroom: Small but adequate. A right-angle shower closes with sliding doors. The sink has a shelf where the hotel supplies all necessary amenities (shampoo, etc.). The only amenity missing is kleenex tissues. The door has a two-prong hook for toilet cases and a terry bathrobe. DINING: Aside from the dining room, there is a large breakfast dining room with a large assortment of breakfast choices. Coffee, tea, fruit drinks available. No complaints about the breakfast. BOTTOM LINE: Central in the modern part of the city, this hotel is a solid choice for those seeking a hotel-like atmosphere with modern amenities. Family members stayed in Room 212--queen bed with a long sitting bench--and also found it pleasant. Cost of suite 217: 250 TL per room, breakfast included.

“Clean rooms , nice staff , good breakfast !”

We enjoyed our 3 days stay very much . Clean rooms and good service . Just for your info: in some of the rooms the toilet is placed impossible next to the shower . Elevator / Lift available . Half an hour quick walking to the old part of town or a short cheap taxi-ride .
