The hotel is just fine, nothing to really rave about. Overall standard European hotel room. The breakfast was fine fruits, vegetables, eggs and sausage. I checked out later in the day my final day and was working in my room. Once checked out of my room they allowed me to work from a private space in the lobby, that was nice. There are a few spaces to park outside next to the hotel. However, if those are full you have to park in the garage at a rate of 10 Euros per night.

“Single night stay!”

We had a unpredicted stop over at this place in Austria, we were returning from Croatia, and we had a flat tyre and had to stay over night in this hotel. for a single night and the feel of the Hotel was good.

We stayed here for the MOTOGP in Spielberg which is only about 35 minutes away. The underground parking was a bonus in view of the extremely high temperatures and provided us with some welcome shade as we were travelling by motorbike. The local shops and restaurants were very close by and we had the bonus of a weekend event in the town with bands and street performers. Handy location for the Red Bull Ring track as it’s much closer than the hotels in Graz when trying to get away from the track. The only issue was that we’d asked for an early breakfast on race day as this was normally from 7am. We were told that breakfast would be available from 6.30 that day so that we could avoid some of the traffic but it wasn’t and we weren’t the only bike fans standing outside the breakfast room waiting for the doors to open

Hotel offers a very decent accommodation for very reasonable price. Though the rooms are furnished quite simply, they are clean and spacious enough. Despite hotel has no own restaurant, due to convenient location of hotel – near the river Mur and close to the lcentre of town (just a few minutes by walk), the guests have enough possibilities to chose a proper restaurant for lunch or dinner. I would personally highlight also private parking lot (underground garage), free wi-fi and very good breakfast with wide selection of meals and drinks.
