We stay in Hamptons or Homewood Suites every night on cross country driving trips. Many are average, but to our delight this Hampton in Marion was excellent. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and well stocked with plush towels. Additionally, the hotel is located in a safe place (where you can leave your SUV loaded overnight) and there are several good restaurant choices within easy walking distance.

“Wonderful motel”

We really enjoyed this motel. The room, halls, common areas, and lobby were very clean. The room was extremely comfortable with a bed that was so relaxing to sleep in. I stayed in a special needs room. It was spacious with a nice desk where I could work easily. The bathroom was also spacious. … Więcej

We really enjoyed this motel. The room, halls, common areas, and lobby were very clean. The room was extremely comfortable with a bed that was so relaxing to sleep in. I stayed in a special needs room. It was spacious with a nice desk where I could work easily. The bathroom was also spacious. The shower was very relaxing. The sink and mirror were very nice, see pictures. The breakfast was good with the usual breakfast items. Upon checking in, they gave me two bottles of water. When checking out, they gave us goody bags for our trip. The goody bags contained an apple, a bottle of water, and an apple. The staff were all nice, respectful, and professional. We would stay here again when in the area.

I chose this property because our traveling party specifically needed connecting rooms, including an accessible room, for safety and convenience. We booked well in advance, and this was one of ten consecutive Hilton stays on our trip. Unfortunately, upon arrival we were informed that one of the very few connecting room sets had already been assigned to another guest. We were offered side-by-side rooms instead and had little choice but to accept because finding another hotel with both connecting rooms and an accessible room available at that hour, in an unfamiliar city, simply wasn’t realistic. We were also told that although we had requested connecting rooms, the request did not appear in the hotel’s system and therefore was never guaranteed. While I understand that room requests cannot always be honored, this was especially disappointing because connecting rooms were a primary reason we chose this property. As a Hilton Honors member for many years, and someone who intentionally booked all ten nights of this trip with Hilton, I expected a higher level of coordination and communication. For families traveling with elderly or disabled members, connecting rooms are often more than a convenience—they can be an important safety consideration. The staff was courteous, but the outcome significantly impacted our stay. I hope Hilton and this property review their reservation process so that future guests with accessibility and connecting room needs do not experience the same situation.

Overall, I'd recommend. Great location. Plenty of parking. Food items still weren't up to par for me as a result, but grandkids liked it. Even room numbers face rear of hotel; odd numbers face the front of hotel. Located near this hotel are three others. If you're unable to park at Hampton Inn, you can probably park in one of the other lots, as they are all within walking distance. Clean rooms, most restaurants located within 10 minute drive (West Memphis AR), some gas stations close, and a handful of restaurants near. Didn't really get any assistance at front desk upon arrival because no one was there for about 15 minutes. However, a front desk clerk did arrive and check us in. Felt safe throughout my stay. Some construction going on behind the hotel, but not sure if it's connected to Hampton Inn.
