Checked in here from the motorway, after our journey from Gothenburg. With out 2 dogs. Given a ground floor room which was clean spacious and comfortable. Checked in here from the motorway, after our journey from Gothenburg. With out 2 dogs. Given a ground floor room which was clean spacious and comfortable. Surprised how cheap it was for the quality and a last minute stop. We then went for a snack and a drink with our dogs on the outside dinning area, that is a little motorway service style, and a bit un tidy litter etc.. How ever the service from the staff was superb! We had a lovely breakfast hot food hot drinks. We have pre booked for this year for our return from Sweden. And looking forward to our stay.

“Friendly staff, spacious room”

Visited on a motorcycle tour on way back to the ferry from Ijmuiden to Newcastle. We were greeted by very friendly staff who spoke perfect English and explained things clearly. Visited on a motorcycle tour on way back to the ferry from Ijmuiden to Newcastle. We were greeted by very friendly staff who spoke perfect English and explained things clearly. We'd booked a comfort room which including local taxes was 81 euro. The hotel is next to the main motorway but the soundproofing meant we couldn't hear any traffic noise. 35C heat and no aircon meant the room was quite hot but plenty of space and the bonus of both bath and shower. The restaurant seemed to have been recently done up and is a motorway service station type set up. Fresh food cooked to order with a huge pizza oven and grill area for fresh cooked steaks etc cooked to your liking. Only one till though which made waiting in a queue to pay for food which was getting cold. Breakfast was included in our price although it wasn't clear what was included from the vast amount of different food on offer. We opted for freshly cooked eggs which again ended up being cold by the time we checked them through the till. Possibly early teething troubles given the recent upgrade but I think a new system of paying needs to be looked into. Overall a good hotel and reasonably priced!

“Hotel and Restaurant dated. Helpfull and friendly staf.”

Service was great, helpfull and friendly staf. Room and bathroom was average. Old and dirty carpet. cobwebs on the ceiling. competitively priced. Wheelchair accessible, but the double doors were terrible.
