Perfect location, just a short walk from Victoria Station – ideal for buses and the Underground – and a stone’s throw from Buckingham Palace. “Great location”

Georgian house was in a beautiful location, very accessible to tube and walking distance to Westminster abbey. AC would have been nice as we were there during a heat wave but fans were provided. Would return for sure.

Firstly, the location of this hotel is just an easy going 15 minutes walk from Victoria Train, Tube and Coach stations, which is great for either getting back into the city, or for visiting the two theatres (Apollo Victoria and Victoria Palace Theatre). The staff on reception gave us a very warm welcome and were very helpful. We had to provide a card payment of £20 as a deposit, which is usual, however they need to update their hotel listings and email advice to reflect this (as they currently state £10). Our room was located on the second floor, which is only accessible via a staircase (we were informed that they have no lift), and was clean and very nicely decorated in a modern style and had a lovely comfortable large double bed, a compact ensuite (with nice toiletries), and the usual much appreciated tea and coffee making facilities. There is no air-conditioning in the Hotel (again as they mention in their listings), but the room had two large sash windows and a room fan, which we certainly needed due to the recent heat wave. Breakfast is served in the basement, and the waiting staff again were friendly and provided a good service. The standard menu is one of a continental buffet type, with cereals, yogurts, cheese, meat and pastries, and with tea, coffee and juices to drink. For a chargeable upgrade (additional £8 per person) you are able to order from the hot menu, which includes a full English breakfast, egg or avocado dishes. The food was very tasty and gave us a good start to the day to then explore all that London has to offer. If you need a meal to eat in the evening, there are plenty of restaurants / eateries within the local area around Victoria station. We would most definitely stay here again for a future mini-break.
