“Clean, close and friendly”
The hostel is really central, you can find free parking on the next street near the gardens. “Friendly staff, clean hostel”
I spent almost three weeks in Rotorua Downtown Backpakers, and I had an amazing stay ! The staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable, checking that everything is fine. “Solid choice - not too fancy”
Average, clean, and not too fancy hostel Pros: Central location Clean Sufficient kitchen and bathroom utilities Cons: Cooking, eating, and chilling area bit separated - difficult to socialize Solid but not too fancy Lacking power point at bed (center power points in room available)

“Typical hostel”
This place was fine. It was clean. A little run down. Facilities were good. Biggest issue was that one of my friends saw another guest naked and that made her really uncomfortable, but that wasn't the property's fault. Reasonable as a place to stay for a couple of nights.
