For an inexpensive motel, Relax Inn was very comfortable and quiet. The young woman who greeted me at the front desk was efficient and friendly. This is not a high-end property, but it was clean and had everything I needed. Refrigerator, microwave, TV, wi-fi. The wi-fi signal was a bit weak, so I used my phone as a hot spot. The breakfast was fine for a room in this price range. Nothing negative at all.

“No dead bolt”

The room was very clean and spacious. Only downside is the dead bolt did not work. I was a woman traveling alone. Room 301. Please fix. Other than that, no problems. Nice hot water for my shower. And I liked the fact is was single level, no stairs.

Reception staff was nice. If you need anything, just let them know.

Your basic amenities, long or short stay. The room may have been larger than most as it was an end unit (105). If you are a couple, or are traveling with kids, the king-size bed will accmodaet you comforable, and ther will be ample room for all your stuff. The bed and the chest of drawers carrying the TV and coffee maker however are the -only- furniture: no desk or chair. Bathroom was clean and functional. It was fire season during my stay, and the motel appears to cater to Cal-Fire--both fire-fighters and support staff from the nearby Yreka airport. Also a fair amount of helicopter and air tanker noise in the background during daytime hours---but that would apply to the whole town. I had minimal contact with the staff, but what there was was polite and accomdating.
