“Holiday Inn Express that can’t be beat!”

My sister and I ended a two week Road Scholar tour of Central Mexico at this lovely Holiday Inn Express Oaxaca. Rooms were great, breakfast was nice, pool was very welcome as daytime is hot, even in February! The great location is close to many sights and lots of shopping and restaurants. Coffee in the room was one of Oaxaca’s best. I bought some to bring home! I recommend this hotel.

I spent 4 nights here at the start of a 2-week trip and one night at the end. Centrally-located with easy, walking access to all of the sights, restaurants, museums, and markets in central Oaxaca, including the Jardín Etnobotánico de Oaxaca, Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzmán, and the Catedral Metropolitan de Oaxaca. Everything is clean — from the rooms, to the lobby, to the pool — the breakfast tastes wonderful, and the staff are welcoming and happy to help in a variety of languages. A great location to experience Oaxaca

“Loved this place! Quiet, clean, nice rooms, great staff”

We loved our room and had a view of the north mountains from it; we were in the junior suite and it was spacious and well-appointed. The breakfast was ample and good; the pool enjoyable. The hot tub/spa was not working or they just keep it cool because it was cool and the jets are not typical and… Több

We loved our room and had a view of the north mountains from it; we were in the junior suite and it was spacious and well-appointed. The breakfast was ample and good; the pool enjoyable. The hot tub/spa was not working or they just keep it cool because it was cool and the jets are not typical and indirect. Otherwise, the place is wonderful and in a great, quiet neighborhood near the park... The hotel staff was great; the front desk people could use a better grasp of directions and recommendations for what is where and where to go, etc.

“Clean, comfortable stay!”

Hotel was clean, comfortable with lovely staff. The pool outside with sun loungers was an extra pleasant surprise! The decor is a little outdated, but it’s in the perfect location for exploring Oaxaca
