“Good value, very helpful staff”

I stayed here twice on a recent trip (on the way in/out) and it is a good value transit hotel in the three-star range. I stayed here twice on a recent trip (on the way in/out) and it is a good value transit hotel in the three-star range. The hotel is a little dated, but the location is very close to Pudong Int'l (lots of flight crews as guests) which helped me with my late arrival and early departure. The Metro is a ten minute taxi ride away; Peoples Square is about one hour away by Metro. The staff was very friendly and helpful (Wugang the bellman was especially helpful while we were there.

Egy hosszú utazás után Kínában, Ningbo-tól Huangshanig, Shaoxing-ből Wenzhou-ba, jó választás, hogy elkerüljék a belváros Sh… Plus

Egy hosszú utazás után Kínában, Ningbo-tól Huangshanig, Shaoxing-ből Wenzhou-ba, jó választás, hogy elkerüljék a belváros Shanghai forgalmi dugóját reggel. A pilóták és a légiutas-kísérők gyakran itt maradnak az éjszakára. Nem tekinthető nemzetközi szállodának, de a szobák tiszták és kényelmesek. Az ár nem olyan magas a város, mint Shanghai, akkor is, ha a hagyományos turisztikai helyeken.

I had to make a one-night stay-over in Pudong before taking my flight to Amsterdam next morning. There are no hotels close to Shanghai International airport. This one was 15 minutes away with the hotel shuttle. Leave the airport at arrival gate 27 (hotel shuttles). There you see a sign with the phone number you have to call to pick you up. My waiting time was about 20 minutes. Next morning shuttles were running every hour and my shuttle bus was perfectly on time. I had a comfortable room, wifi worked well. Dinner was included, not a 5-star experience, but just OK. The hotel does what an airport hotel should do. The front desk staff just speaks enough English to check you in, no other staff speaks something else than Chinese.
