“Great Service and Very Comfortable”

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights (13-15 Sep 18), whilst part of a Group Tour from Australia. Despite being a distance from Shanghai central and closer to Pudong, the hotel staff were fabulous. Our room was clean and comfort and more than I expected, with king-size bed, bath and shower, AC and kettle. We were on the 7th floor and we have a panoramic view of the skyline of Shanghai. There is a convenience store which catered for late minute items and the surrounding neighbourhood was very clean and treelined street, which was pleasant for an early morning stroll. Hotel staff could not do enough for us, despite the language barrier. But overall it was a good stay.

“Clean comfy need to do work on their breakfast ”

Nice room with separate shower and deep bath. Twin vanities. Bed hard but plenty of room. Buffet breakfast- cold coffee and too strong when it came. Lots of sausages which are not appetising. But they tried hard. Went on Shanghai by lights too which was crowded - a walk around the harbour may hav… Plus

“Faded glory a long way from the city”

This large hotel is way out of the city and has seen better days. Rooms are spacious but not cleaned thoroughly. Bed was good quality so we slept well. However breakfast was poor with limited choices. We suspect this hotel is cutting costs as much as possible e.g. 2 coffee machines for breakfast al… Plus

However breakfast was poor with limited choices. We suspect this hotel is cutting costs as much as possible e.g. 2 coffee machines for breakfast always had one closed down and the other with restricted supply (coffee is expensive in China). Plus dinner was a short menu and small portions. Give this hotel a miss.

This is a modern hotel that has all the mod cons expected in such an establishment. The public areas are attractive and the rooms spacious. Breakfast was mostly Asian which was fine by us and the coffee was surprisingly good. Wifi worked well. The only shortcoming for this hotel is its isolation… Plus

This is a modern hotel that has all the mod cons expected in such an establishment. The public areas are attractive and the rooms spacious. Breakfast was mostly Asian which was fine by us and the coffee was surprisingly good. Wifi worked well. The only shortcoming for this hotel is its isolation. It is about an hour from downtown Shanghai and there is almost nothing around it so you are a bit of a captive.
