Stayed here one njght, really enjoyed our stay, (went to see a show in aldershot) this place is really clean with comfortable beds & a brilliant breakfast, we had the full English. “Does everything right without the cost”

From the outside it looks a little tired, however for the price what you het is excellent Two sets of tight stairs if you are in the top floor bit the rooms are clean, good comfy bed and a clean bathroom Those little things that annoy you about a room are actually quite good here Plenty of plug so… Plus

From the outside it looks a little tired, however for the price what you het is excellent Two sets of tight stairs if you are in the top floor bit the rooms are clean, good comfy bed and a clean bathroom Those little things that annoy you about a room are actually quite good here Plenty of plug sockets, a bathroom mirror with lights that work, good shower although a bit tricky to set, clean towels, a fan and a tv that works and is online. Many better hotels cant get this right. Breakfast served in a nice room that would appear great in any hotel, was good but limited to cereal or a cooked breakfast, or a continental option with tea coffee and fresh orange that wasn't watered down. Check in and out was easy, outside you are directly opposite the Farnborough air museum and a nice pub down the road if you didnt want to eat in the hotel. All in all for the cost it works well and we would stay again. If you are expecting a £200/night room this isnt it. If you want simple and everything works its fine.

The hotel has the feel of somewhere that is struggling and in need of some upgrading. Furniture scuffed and chipped. Stains on room carpet and carpets in the corridors and dining room. Mould in corners of bath tiling. It takes at least 5 minutes running the hot water tap for actual hot water to ar… Plus

The hotel has the feel of somewhere that is struggling and in need of some upgrading. Furniture scuffed and chipped. Stains on room carpet and carpets in the corridors and dining room. Mould in corners of bath tiling. It takes at least 5 minutes running the hot water tap for actual hot water to arrive. Breakfast was ok but basic by today's standards: rather limited options for the cooked items. The impression was of a dining room/kitchen running slightly low on staff or budgets.

The Falcon is a bit of a contradiction. Some aspects are excellent - comfortable bed, spotlessly clean bathroom and a lovely (cooked to order) breakfast. Some are not so good - my room had a smell to it that didn’t diminish, the carpet was stained and the room facilities were not good. On balance, I would try to stay elsewhere in Farnborough but would not refuse to come back if (like this visit) someone else was paying.
