1 week another visit in Seoul 🇰🇷. I’ve been in voco Seoul Gangnam, an IHG Hotel (voco Seoul Gangnam, an IHG Hotel) several times. Location ideal place Gangnam in the center of Seoul specially most of my meetings split in 2 different area of Seoul from Hyundai in Jongno-gu and Samsung in Gangdong-gu. The breakfast food option was fantastic. Lovely Korean and Japanese food. They regularly change the menu alternate every day so you find it interesting specially i stayed for 1 week. The room was upgraded to premium with amazing view of Seoul Tower and I love the bathtub korean style designed in woods. Mini bar was served for free and ofcourse the lovely welcome gift White Wine from Chile.

“A superb city centre hotel”

Expertly managed by GM Mr Tom Kim. It has a great location, rooms are comfortable. It's nicely designed. The breakfast is excellent and so is the all day dining. Very good value for money. Pleasant and professional service. Generous amenities.

My family of 4 came for the lunar new year break and booked 2 rooms. Arrived early and the reception manager allowed us to check in before 10am, she was very caring and attentive to our needs. That’s not all, Mr Jack Lim and his manager went the extra mile to help us re-arrange our tour that the tour operator messed up. The 2 gentlemen went through the hassles very patiently and with a genuine intention to help. Upon knowing I am looking for a specific Korean craft, they helped to search for places where I could go and even called the shops personally to check if they are open during the holiday. They even recommended places we could go for our interest. Not to forget the unsung heroine behind the scene, the housekeeping auntie is always very friendly and keeping our rooms clean and tidy. I highly recommended Voco Gangnam for your stay in Seoul, not only for the convenient location but most importantly the personable service that are above and beyond. Thank you for making our stay memorable and enjoyable.

I should start by saying that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. It's a perfectly nice hotel and, if you pick it for your holiday, you will have a comfortable stay. I should start by saying that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. It's a perfectly nice hotel and, if you pick it for your holiday, you will have a comfortable stay. You won't be disappointed with the service you receive. However, I can't really give it more than 3 stars... What was good: - The staff are very nice and helpful. - It's in a great location, close to Sinsa station, with cafes and shops nearby. - The lobby is nicely decorated and offers plenty of seating. - The breakfast is tasty and there is a lot of option. - The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are comfy. There was complimentary water which was nice to have. What was not so good: - It feels soulless. The hotel and restaurant don't offer much in terms of a vibe or experience. The outdoor bar area was always empty. - The rooms are too small. We stayed in a twin room and there just wasn't enough space for two suitcases. It felt cramped. It's style over substance, and in many ways, it's impractical. I think if you are coming to this hotel for business, or using it as your base for your post-op (many of the guests were recovering from plastic surgery), you will find this hotel perfect. If you are simply coming to Seoul for a holiday, I think there are better options that offer more of an experience. We've previously stayed at the Aloft Myeongdong and the Courtyard Marriot Namdaemun and preferred both.
