“Stay at Clermont Ferrand”

Decent accommodation that fits the bill if you are undertaking the long drive down to the South of France and beyond. We slept well and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The adjacent restaurant does good food at reasonable prices.

“Good on a budget”

We have stayed in this chain a few times and this particular one is one of the better ones in my humble opinion. Internet worked well, good hot water in a small shower and reasonably comfortable bed. Overall pretty good for 35€.

This really is a budget hotel and seems to cater for builders (which we didn’t know when we made a reservation), we were looking for a hotel close to the airport for our first night and nearly kept on driving when we saw this place. This really is a budget hotel and seems to cater for builders (which we didn’t know when we made a reservation), we were looking for a hotel close to the airport for our first night and nearly kept on driving when we saw this place. The staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful, rooms were small and basic but very clean (more so than the Kyriad we stayed in later in the week), mattresses were a bit then and air con was a bit noisy, but it was cheap!

“Premiere Classe Sud better”

Having stayed at the Premiere Classe Sud in December I thought I try the Nord because it was cheaper than the Sud hotel. Got there just before 9pm. Having stayed at the Premiere Classe Sud in December I thought I try the Nord because it was cheaper than the Sud hotel. Got there just before 9pm. Women showed me how to check in using the machine outside main door. I had to pay a few euros for the 3 nights I was going to stay. The wifi was bad compared their Sud hotel in December. I could hear my neighbouring taking a shower,tv or chatting. The night before leaving there was a lot of wind noise which caused whistling sound into the room via the door. I got a 3 bedroom. The third bed being a bunk bed above the double bed. There was a metal ladder to get to bunk bed. Due to being a third bed the was no shelving/wardrobe compared to the 2 bedroom which I had stayed at the Premiere Classe Sud hotel. There was a few coat hangers next to the ladder to climb the bunk bed. There was only 1 restaurant closeby whilst at the Sud branch there lots of places to eat. Given the choice next time I would stay in their Premiere Classe Sud.
