“All good, no problems”

Stayed one night en route to holiday destination. Good location just off motorway. All good, clean,tidy and good food. Pool was out of service though.The mediaeval village is very close and looks interesting but we didn’t have time to explore.

A very handy hotel for us by its location and a much enjoyed break in our journeys to and from our home in southern Galicia. Modern in style but with a touch of history from the origins of the building. Very quiet location and a good night´s rest guaranteed. The restaurant serves up tasty dinners... lisää

The restaurant serves up tasty dinners and the typical hearty Parador breakfasts are always enjoyed.

“Nice hotel pity about the staff”

The staff were very self centred and should remember where their wages are created. This survey is very tiresome and should be reduced. Most people have no real interest in the green issues operated by a hotel group. This is totally down to the hotel management to assess.

First impressions,a very smart hotel.Rooms are well appointed and comfortable.The staff are pretty good too. First impressions,a very smart hotel.Rooms are well appointed and comfortable.The staff are pretty good too. However,I think that the chef has delusions of grandeur in that the menu attempts to be grander than necessary.It is a Parador,after all,so I wouldn’t expect fish and chips. We had two double rooms and paid for four adults half board.Somehow my two boys were offered the children’s menu-obviously much cheaper.The dining room opens at nine and,by ten,we hadn’t had starters-only an amuse bouche (refer to my earlier point).I left the table at half ten. Imagine my surprise when my elder son saught me out to say he had a caterpillar in his burger.He removed it from his mouth but the waitress left it wriggling on the table. The management were most apologetic and took a little off the bill the next day-one half board was reduced to one B&B.As we hadn’t had the 4 x adult half board we’d paid for, not much of a gesture. The town itself is stunning and we shall stay at the possada next time.
