We go to Italy every couple of years and always spend a few days at Hotel Marco Polo. It is very clean, peaceful and welcoming. The owner, Nazareno, always has a smile on his face. He is always glad to help you with travel ideas and plans. He knows what is going on-festivals, market days that aren't in any travel books. The hotel is near restaurants and attractions. But the best part is that you are in a very reasonably priced hotel that is great as a home base for many day trips. You can easily get to Venice, Verona, Lake Garda, Padua, Milan, Florence, San Sirmione, and many more towns. It is nice to be able to come back to a central location where you have all your luggage and not drag it around and change hotels every night! We highly recommend this hotel!

“Like family”

What can you say. Many years ago I found Marco Polo hotel. Was there to find my idol Roberto Baggio which I did and now a good friend. The owner Nazeremo is like a uncle. Whatever you need he try's his best to deliver and 99 percent he does. For the money can't beat it. Ps the food is great.

Not only did he share his time generously, he gave good advice about the area. We were looking at a business to buy, and on his own, he did some research for us! He actually was able to help us learn about the reputation of the location and the kinds of details only available to a "local". The meals at his restaurant were delicious. Honestly, delicious! The prices were very appropriate. We conducted business meetings in the restaurant, and the design of the lobby is inviting and easy to treat like your own livingroom. It was perfect!!! warm, inviting, and all presented in the most warm and elegant manner. the staff was terrific, friendly. In the restaurant we enjoyed delicious meals and felt like we were in our own home. The breakfast was a cut above the run of the mill toast, jam and supermarket cornetti. Fresh apricot Croissant, good, really good pot of tea and plenty of time and plenty of comfort. We will stay here when we close the deal. the room was bigger than the average 3 star hotel room and very comfortable. Another important point, we controlled our own heat!!! as much or as little we wanted. shower was big, and bathroom very comfortable. There is a communal roof terrace with a lovely swing chair for warmer evenings. we loved the Marco Polo, and you will too.

“Great family run hotel with excellent restaurant”

We were looking for a hotel near Vicenza for the train and for sightseeing and to Nove for pottery shopping. This fit the bill perfectly. We were looking for a hotel near Vicenza for the train and for sightseeing and to Nove for pottery shopping. This fit the bill perfectly. The price was very reasonable and the rooms, while small, were very neat and very clean. The family went out of their way to help us in any way possible and made us feel very welcome. The highlight of our stay was dinner in their restaurant where all of the food is made from scratch. It is Tuscan with a Florentine accent. The main attraction for this small restaurant is the beef steak which (we found out after we had eaten there) is considered a gourmet dish. The food was simple, based on what was available locally with lovely bright green olive oil to pour over and to dip. We were offered two different kinds of pasta to start and then after dinner we were offered small cookies, candies and sweet wine.
