“Decent hotel in El Calafate”

We were only in El Calafate for a couple of days to visit the glacier – like most people. This hotel is a good choice and fits the bill for the stay. We were only in El Calafate for a couple of days to visit the glacier – like most people. This hotel is a good choice and fits the bill for the stay. It’s a great price point and rooms are comfortable and decorated in a local style. It’s just off the main road so nice and quiet. Breakfast was fine and served in the restaurant attached to the hotel – evening meals in the restaurant are excellent.

“Great! Comfortable, clean and central”

Great experience! Very central but still quiet location. Big and comfortable rooms - very clean! Nice garden surrounded by trees which makes it nice to just sit and read or chat. Super friendly and helpful staff - Leonel and Ignacio both did everything they could to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

“Good staff, poor breakfast”

A decent hotel in a good central location in the town, a short walk to many restaurants. A reasonable size room and bathroom. Perfectly clean and comfortable nothing special but ok. Breakfast was below average. All self service, coffee, tea, juice then only one cereal. Called Frosties in the UK, I … lisää

A decent hotel in a good central location in the town, a short walk to many restaurants. A reasonable size room and bathroom. Perfectly clean and comfortable nothing special but ok. Breakfast was below average. All self service, coffee, tea, juice then only one cereal. Called Frosties in the UK, I like them but strange for being the only choice. No museli, no yogurt, no tomatoes, just one type of ham and cheese, no choice of eggs, fried or scrambled. So poor in fact it determined us that if this is the standard for the hotel we won't be dining in the restaurant in the evening. WiFi was also poor, constantly dropping off in the room. The reception staff were always personable and helpful nice people.
