“Superb for foreigners to get the flavor of Japan.”
This ryokan is superb. They were very welcoming for American tourists. We stayed a full week, which is unusual for them. But we wanted to explore the Kyoto area. The meals were fantastic. “Nice place”
Great location to walk old Kyoto. The hotel itself is a little dated but clean. Make sure to ask for extra pillows. “Average ryokan”
Located in Gion which is a lovely area to explore, but not practical for access to the the main railway system. The room was a nice size with a separate toilet and bathroom.
