We live in Napoli and visited the city of Cesenatico for three nights. Based on good reviews and reasonable prices, we selected the Hotel Vallechiara and were very satisfied. We were provided with breakfast and dinner, which were very good meals considering they were included in the rate. Would have liked some form of eggs for breakfast, even hard-boiled; but other than that we were very satisfied. The wait help was very friendly and attentive. The hotel was very well maintained and the rooms were very clean and air conditioned. The staff was friendly and, although most spoke little English, there was one person who spoke excellent English and we were able to communicate satisfactorily with the others as needed. The biggest translation challenge was related to making menu selections for each nights' dinner. We also did not realize there was an extra charge for water and wine at dinner until we checked out; but the prices were reasonable enough that it really didn't matter. The hotel provides free city bicycles for cruising around town and this town is definitely cycle-friendly - bike paths and wide, well-paved roads everywhere. We left our car parked the entire time and rode bikes everywhere we went. In our room we could hear noises from adjacent rooms and even from downstairs so that was a negative. Very close to a free beach and they provide towels. Free parking and wireless internet. Overall a good choice.

We stayed at hotel Vallechiara in a family room. The service was very good. We get complimentary welcome drinks and the hospitality was all over excellent. The room was clean but the bathroom was very small. There are also bikes for borrow free of charge. Internet was also complimentary. Location is great: To the great beach is only 200 m. There are many shops and restaurants near from the hotel. And the hotels dinner is fantastic! Only 10 eur per person for three courses dinner including wines! Value of the money is good; family room with breakfast 69 eur.
