“A wonderful Place to stay”

Travelling as a family of 7 we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on this complex. The views were outstanding, you are surrounded by beautiful mountain views or sea views depending on where you are situated, the main pool was great fun with the waterslides, It wasn't busy so the children could enjoy the slides without having to queue. There are lots of other pools to choose from if you don't fancy the main one. There is a restaurant and bar which we ate at once, the food was nice and good value about 20 lira for a burger and chips, which the kids loved but I prefer Turkish dishes. There is a shuttle bus the takes you between the flamingo, turquoise and royal heights (two other resorts that you have access to)which is useful for people that don't fancy the very hilly walks. There is a restaurant at the Turquoise which has lovely food, they do a roast on a Sunday and have live music on Wednesday nights, Royal Heights also have a restaurant which we didn't get to eat in as we made the long trek down there and it was shut (on a Saturday night). They have a very basic beach there which we went to once, we didn't really like that beach though as the only option for swimming in the sea was to dive off a jetty into the deep ocean which didn't suit the children. We got free transport to Yelken beach which is really lovely, it has a great vibe and a lovely bar/restaurant with a fantastic barbecue and live music on a Thursday evening. Another great beach is sunset beach which again has a lovely restaurant and a bigger beach with sand, sun beds and sun shacks that you can hire for the day, you can get a free lift to this beach as well if you call them(05373369096) its only 5 mins away from the resort. The Spa at the Flamingo is amazing! I treated myself x3 times to medical massage, Turkish bath and facials fantastic value for money, the best treatments in the world! A real treat! If you want hustle, bustle, busy entertainment then this place is not for you. However if you like nature, beauty, peace and quiet and relaxation and don't mind keeping fit (with all the hilly walks) Then this place is great. My kids ranging between 10-17 loved it as well! FYI (EXTRA BITS) **There are wild dogs around, that were harmless but if you have a dog phobia I wouldn't go. **All the pools were clean when we stayed. **Everything was really cheap, we went on a boat trip, waterpark trip and ate out every day. ** It can seem like a bit of a ghost town when you get there as its really not busy and hasn't got loads going on - which we liked - but you can find things to do, such as beaches etc

“Nice view of Nature and Sea”

Suits are between sea and salt lake which you can see some flamingos who named the resort. There are a lot of pools and water parks. Sea is clean and nice. Close to the market and shops. Far from Bodrum Center but easy acces with one bus. I will prefer again and again.

“Getting better every year”

FCC had some bad press and bad reviews under previous management but this has now changed. The gardens get better every year and were looking great. The pools are a great attraction as there are so many to choose from and the Daphne pool was perfect in terms of water quality and the pool cleanlin... lisää

The pools are a great attraction as there are so many to choose from and the Daphne pool was perfect in terms of water quality and the pool cleanliness. FCC is now in charge of the restaurant and it is on an upward curve, their special nights are great fun and great entertainment.
