“A pleasant inn, a good value, next to a freeway”

Everything is fine with this Fairfield Inn. Prospective guests should be aware that you can hear the adjacent freeway from within the rooms. A spacious gym is a bonus though it could use - and has space for - a second bench.

Ok for one night. The mobile check-in and mobile room key were helpful, especially because nobody at the front desk ever looked up unless you spoke to them first. Ok for one night. The mobile check-in and mobile room key were helpful, especially because nobody at the front desk ever looked up unless you spoke to them first. The beds were very comfortable but there were no outlets on or around the bedside table??? I had to put my CPAP machine on an overturned trash bin on the other side of the bed and charge my phone on the desk- so weird. The TV kept losing signal and going back to the Marriott channel every 10 minutes or so. Breakfast was ok but no fruit at all, not even green bananas. Employees were not friendly. Still looking for a good hotel in Scranton because it’s on our way to everywhere and we stay in the area a lot.

“Needs Major Renovation”

This experience was a 2 1/2 then a 3. This property is in poor repair. We turned in a list of broken items in our room when we left. We heard two different customers complaining at the front desk about problems with their rooms. On top of that the public areas are cramped and beat up. The elevator… lisää

This experience was a 2 1/2 then a 3. This property is in poor repair. We turned in a list of broken items in our room when we left. We heard two different customers complaining at the front desk about problems with their rooms. On top of that the public areas are cramped and beat up. The elevator labored between floors and we worried it might break down. The staff seemed friendly and competent but I believe the problem is that the owners aren't spending a dime on this place. The room itself was clean but bare bones and small when compared to most Fairfield Inns we have stayed in and we stay at alot. At least there was a shower and not a tub. The breakfast was typical. The only thing that saved this from being a two or lower was that it was relatively cheap.
