This hotel was consistently clean and about a 3 minute walk to the center of Balaklava. I stayed here 3 nights, and the front desk was always staffed with one of three very friendly young women who spoke English. A table service breakfast was included in the price and consisted of one drink of choice and two entree choices from their menu. The breakfast room was always uncrowded and quiet, which was nice. Don't expect to have a view of the waterfront from this hotel or you will be disappointed. However, you're only a few minutes walk to plenty of outdoor cafes and restaurants along the waterfront that stay open pretty late. The town bus stop is also only a 3 minute walk away as well.

“Oasis for balaklava”

I stayed at the hotel in january to visit the bulk terminal. Compared with anything else around, the hotel is more than adequate for a short stay. Rooms are large, clean and staff is very polite and helpful. The bar is small but cozy and breakfast is not bad. that would of course change if hotel ... lisää

I stayed at the hotel in january to visit the bulk terminal. Compared with anything else around, the hotel is more than adequate for a short stay. Rooms are large, clean and staff is very polite and helpful. The bar is small but cozy and breakfast is not bad. that would of course change if hotel is more busy, as there is very little space there. There is no english speaking tv, and no international channels so if you don't speak russian, ukrainian, then tv is good for nothing. Lunch was again not bad, but the steak was too cooked. wifi is free but very weak and cannot reach you in the bar. Finally prices are high but quite expected for ukraine.

To be in this hotel was like to be at home. First of all it was the only one who answer quickly my asking or rent a room. The clerks are very comunicative, very helpul in any time like to be in a familly and speaking correct English and some Spanish: helping me about taxis, translators, adress,... lisää

To be in this hotel was like to be at home. First of all it was the only one who answer quickly my asking or rent a room. The clerks are very comunicative, very helpul in any time like to be in a familly and speaking correct English and some Spanish: helping me about taxis, translators, adress, ukrainian phone, short trips and more other things :-) Moreover there is a bodyguard man 24 hours in the hotel. And an electronic card to open the door and security cameras. Quiet safe. The food was excellent.: athentic mediterranean food with the mixture from orient and occident. I was wondered about the beauty of the hands of the women waiters and the politely of men waiters. All of them with very good maners. May be is not a Luxury hotel but all the people working there are better than other hotels with a lot of stars. Only one think to improve: there isn´t an elevator. The bed were confortable and the bathroom cleaned every day in good conditions, like the first day!

“Location”

The location is alright and pretty close to the habour. The rooms are clean and Ok. The staff is very helpful but the breakfast is pretty mediocre. We stayed there before the Russian take over. Overall it's fair for the price but not too fancy
