“Sumptuous Stay!”

I booked to stay one night in Blackpool and decided to stay at the Number One Hotel in the southern part of the town. Prior to my stay I got a message from the hotel to confirm my booking and what time I would be arriving. I tried to reply to the email but was not able to so I called them instead and everything was sorted. I was travelling by train and the hotel is not too far from the Blackpool Pleasure Beach railway station so I got off there and with the help of google maps was able to find the hotel quite easily. I got checked in OK and was shown to my room by the receptionist. There is a lift to get up and down to floors and it is big enough for a small mobility scooter. There is also a staircase. When coming back to the hotel late at night your key card for the room will also open the front door. I was in the Baroque room which has a sea view. MY GOODNESS! WHAT A ROOM! It was so nice! I felt very special. My room had a huge double bed, a sofa and a lovely bathroom with a bath with a jacuzzi feature. I slept really well in my comfy bed and the next morning decided to try the jacuzzi feature which was brilliant. I really had a relaxing time in the bath. There were plenty of toiletries provided as well as bath salts to give the bath a little fizz. There were also tea, coffee and biscuits available. I had booked breakfast for 8:30 am and there was a selection of fruit and cereals available and I had requested a full cooked breakfast which was lovely. I also asked for green tea and this was provided too. The staff were all really lovely. Very chatty and I felt very relaxed and welcome. If you want a stay with an extra special bit of luxury when in Blackpool then I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Myself and my husband have just returned home today from a stay at The Number One South Beach Hotel in Blackpool and what can we say...just wow! The hotel is simply beautiful, spotlessly clean, warm and inviting. Every area is unique, the decor has clearly been incredibly well planned and put together. The breakfast selection and quality is beautiful. Even down to the water and juice at breakfast being fresh and ice cold. The coffee comes in a cafetiere and is also lovely, a great change from instant coffee. The location is lovely and quiet and right next to the tram stop. The rooms are stunning, the beds comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was a wonderful treat, not something usual to Blackpool hotels. Mark and Claire the owners are what really makes this hotel. Their friendliness, warm, welcoming nature and attention to detail. They have something really unique here and long may it continue. This is not just a hotel, its a whole experience. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!

We visited as a family of 6 from Scotland and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Lovely comfy property, beautifully decorated. Quiet and well fitted bedrooms, fantastic breakfast, and welcoming public areas. Friendly, helpful owners and staff. Easy transport along the front to the Tower area on foot or by direct tram. We would stay here for any visit to Blackpool. Thanks for the easter eggs on Easter Sunday!!
