“Love everything about this hotel!”

This is a beautiful hotel. Very centrally located. The staff is very friendly and accommodating . The rooms are spectacular ! This was our second stay and we will be back! Make sure you visit the rooftop bar. Excellent view of the city.

We were lucky enough to upgrade to a suite with a huge terrace overlooking the cathedral, and it was the highlight of the room for sure! Not only is the hotel and it’s accommodations perfect, the service and kindness from every single person who works here is top-notch. I highly recommend you stay here! You won’t be sorry.

Amazing Hotel, staff, location and rooms. The Guest Relations Manager is a gem and we followed her recommendations for restaurants, bars and she even got us a last-minute Flamenco Dinner reservation. We loved all of it. The breakfast is substantial and has all you would expect of a Luxury hotel. what sets this hotel apart even further is the location that's amazing for walks and exploring the city. We stayed at Lamaro Hotel in Barcelona in April 2026 and absolutely loved it. The location honestly could not be better — directly next to the cathedral in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, yet the hotel itself felt calm, elegant and beautifully maintained. Everything was spotless, smelled amazing and the staff was professional and welcoming from the first moment. Our room was comfortable, quiet and perfect for a city trip with family. As a single mum travelling with my 8-year-old son and family, I especially appreciated how smooth and stress-free everything felt. But the biggest highlight of the hotel for us was definitely the breakfast. Truly one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. The quality and taste of everything was exceptional — fresh breads and pastries, incredible cheeses and hams, smoked salmon, beautiful salads, fresh fruit, hot dishes, amazing coffee and even made-to-order egg dishes. Every morning felt like a luxury brunch experience. You could really tell the hotel focuses on quality ingredients and presentation. The hotel location made exploring Barcelona incredibly easy. We visited Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló, Park Güell, the Aquarium and many restaurants mostly by short taxi rides or walking. After long busy days in the city, it always felt nice to return to Lamaro. A small tip for future travellers — if you enjoy quieter mornings and less crowded sightseeing, April was a fantastic time to visit Barcelona. Warm sunny weather, beautiful atmosphere and still much more comfortable than peak summer months. We would absolutely stay here again.
