“Amazing holiday”

Brilliant hotel!!!! We went all inclusive blue wristbands were given for adults and yellow for children, lots of mixed reviews on this place had me a little optimistic but the Spanish have all been polite and friendly. Followed the rules of the hotel and we haven’t been treated any differently. Safe available in the room and keys available at reception. Branded ice creams and drinks have been given to us, Carlos restaurant beautiful food have to book at 12pm the same day, 22 euros per adult 11 euros per child 3 course meal and all drinks included, the other restaurants are unfortunately closed until the end of May/June but we haven’t been short of food. Apart from breakfast the food has been different every day, if your happy to try new foods you won’t have a problem. There is a selection always chips sausage and your usual kiddy foods available. Carlos is also a snack bar through the day til 6.30pm behind the slide pool. Very well run and clean hotel. Slide area is well managed. For the kids it’s ideal for them to wear socks or beach shoes on the pavement around the slide area as it’s a bit like sandpaper but also good to stop them slipping. Life guards were on hand to sort our son’s toes out straight away! Honestly have nothing to fault the hotel on. There is plenty of stuff to do around both to the left and right of the hotel. Bus outside takes you straight to Roquetas de Mar centre the marina and into almeria. There is also a shopping centre which we visited which the kids loved as there was McDonald’s KFC Burger King etc. We will definitely be booking to come again next year. Hopefully August this year too.

My wife and I booked All Inclusive and stayed for 7 nights from 08 to 15 Oct 2023. The hotel is really nice, in a good location although nothing much going on immediately outside of the hotel. However there is a long promenade you can walk along around 3miles each direction. It has large grounds around it with salt water pools, great area especially if you have children, large safe environment, with life guards. Plenty of sun loungers, the pool snack bars served all types of drinks including crisps, snacks, ice creams included. We paid extra when booking for a sea view balcony room, our room was on the 5th floor, it was large with great views. For the room safe you have to pay 12 euro (plus 20 euro deposit), and 10 euro deposit to hire beach towels. The beach is on its backdoor, easy to access from the hotel gardens, it’s not sandy, has very small stones, immaculate. Main restaurant had a good variety of food every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner it also had a live cooking station with specials of the day options depending on time of day. The staff serve you tea /coffee / alcohol / soft drinks etc. at your table. Mediterranean restaurant served snacks and lunch, you need to reserve a table and pay for evening meals. Carlos Italian restaurant served snacks and lunch, closed in the evening. They have an Asia restaurant it was closed during our stay. We booked All Inclusive and had black wrist band and felt no need to upgrade to All Inclusive Plus orange wrist band for top shelf alcohol etc. Entertainment was mainly in Spanish, we liked it, remember you are in Spain! Lots of Spanish tourist, no problem at all for us, what are they not allowed to holiday in Spain! All the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful some having limited English but it was much better than our knowledge of Spanish and no problems for us. We were the last tourist to leave the hotel at around 17.30 on Sun 15 Oct. It was closing straight after we left, but they continued to serve food and drink until 16.00 which was fine by us. If you want a holiday to relax, eat, drink and not do much else then this hotel is ideal.

“Perfect budget holiday if you can get a good deal like we did”

“Relaxing”

Great cleaners and clean room with fridge . Food was varied but steaks and anything from the hot grill was spot on Entertainment was mainly Spanish but some songs were in English Caught the bus twice for the Grand plaza and market As we aren't walkers the hotel was not close to anything The TV was mostly Spanish BUT asked at reception and they put 2 English news channels on for us.. Pools where good with the slides(noisy) and calm by the stage And lastly was told could only order 3 drinks at a time otherwise get reduced to half board..The bar staff cannot know this as trays of drinks was commonplace
