“Real Madrid - great location, staff and value”
Great hotel. Staff amazing, location the best and value for the standard of room and location. Would recommended Villa Real if staying in Madrid. The terrace our thr front a lovely place to watch the world go by. Two minutes walk to the Thyssen Gallery which is also worth a visit.

“Weekend stay in Madrid”
Great hotel, staff and location. Breakfast was fantastic. Loved the bar and outside bar space. Room really spacious and clean and well equipped. Loved the mini pick n mix station in reception too Overall great place for a weekend in Madrid.

“Not for older folks with mobility issues”
Yes, European luxury in a great location as highlighted in other reviews, but with hazards: 1. the tiny elevators are up a flight of stairs from the lobby, 2. the sitting area in the good rooms are down 3 stairs, which are at the end of the bed. “Never again”
I hesitate to give this hotel anything higher than a 3.
