“Kawiarenka na dworze”

Przyszliśmy na plażę i zatrzymaliśmy się w kawiarni po południu. Ceny są bardzo rozsądne. Jedzenie zajęło dużo czasu. To było bardzo dobre. Doskonałe kalmary i świeża sałatka. Widok był fantastyczny, a wystrój przyjemny. Uroczy i przyjemny.

As with most (if not all) hotels in the area it is very dated (based on western world standards) and as a consequence attracts the lower end of class of foreign country guests predominantly Russians, Slavs, Bulgarians, who can be obnoxious (e.g loud, inconsiderate to other guests as well as their environment (littering)). The rooms are nothing to be overly excited about, very basic amenities and beds can be uncomfortable depending what rooms you stay in. Overall owner and staff helpful and endeavour to make your stay as pleasant as possible (within their means). The garden is decorated with lots of greenery and artefacts of ancient Macedonia. It is peaceful during lunchtime with the songs of birds chirping gives a very beautiful feeling of tranquillity- a feeling you really appreciate when living in the hustle and bustle of city life. The pool area is clean and tidy however can definitely use/ require a child proof rated fence and gate - so child supervision is a must. The hotel itself is realistically 3.0 star at best. Air con is extra charge, personal fans free. What you get here is a very real, comfortable and relaxing feeling of Greek environment and lifestyle. The beach is sensational, very warm water in summer (with very rare case of jellyfish) and crystal clear. Great beach for kids and families - young and old. As a negative the sand however is very dirty with rocks twigs and can be polluted with cigarette buds and drinking straws in areas of high people density. For all its flaws, I would still revisit it again mainly for its glorious beach, its Greek feel and a reminder that sometimes too much progression in life can make you miss and appreciate the simple things that the world has to offer.

In mouzenidis guide Villa was pointed as 4stars hotel. But from the very first look you can understand it isn't true. The room was small an clean, but the bathroom... Very strange design and really old facilities with terrible smell from the floor brush at the entrance. Terribly poor breakfasts. The only but great advantage- private territory and close to the sea. It was difficult to understand how families with children could live there, but they did... Every evening local guy was taking out all the trash from the restaurant, using motorbike and a market cart- that was really noisy. No wifi in rooms or lobby- unusual detail for us.
