Have a night in the hotel before a flight from Bergamo airport. A quit and pretty place for a moderate price. My room had a picteresque view of a river and mountains. I walked round the town in the evening finding a place to have dinner, as I didn't want to get it in the hotel. Found several cafes and a chinese restaurant where you can get "all inclusive" dinner for 18 euros.

Driving thru Italy we came across the Hotel Ventolosa and would recommend this family owned hotel to anyone wanting a great value for money. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was basic but plentiful. Antonio the owner was very helpful to us in confirming our next nights accommodation in Monterossa.

“Beautiful views”

With a tour, I spent four nights, the service is excellent. Breakfast and dinner was included. Both very good. Rooms very good with views from balcony absolutely beautiful. As we arrived with a large group it was hard to use the elevator after check inn. The elevator is very small, it holds no more… more

With a tour, I spent four nights, the service is excellent. Breakfast and dinner was included. Both very good. Rooms very good with views from balcony absolutely beautiful. As we arrived with a large group it was hard to use the elevator after check inn. The elevator is very small, it holds no more than 4 people and with luggage even less. The airconditioner was not turned on but with the windows open it was cold in the morning that was all that was needed. The shower is okay but not perfect. I would stay there again if I were in the area.

While we absolutely loved the location and the view of the river behind the hotel, the rooms and service were average. This isn't to say anything negative about the hotel, it just didn't wow us like some other places we stayed during our trip. The room price seemed a bit high for what we got but the freshly-baked croissants for the breakfast buffet were our favorite of the trip! We was pleasant waking up to the smell of the croissants being baked. Also, the hotel offers wifi internet for a charge which is a bit of a bummer but certainly not a a deal breaker. There weren't many restaurants in the neighborhood so plan to eat at the hotel restaurant or walk/drive a bit to get to something else.
