Went as a couple for one week. Wasn't sure what to expect but holiday surpassed our expectations. Went premium all inclusive and was totally worth it. All drinks were branded and served by the loveliest friendliest people ever had in a hotel. They worked extremely long hours but you was greeted always with a lovely smile and nothing too much of a bother. Cannot remember all names but one stood out, Jose. He worked in pool bar and main bar and was delightful. Entertainment team were totally amazing. Matij, the Czech guy, did all the water events with such energy and vigour was exhausted just watching! You could see on faces of holidaymakers how much they enjoyed. He was also one of the nicest men you could meet, always lovely to chat with. He also did the DJ sequence of an evening on the verandah playing really good music and getting everyone involved. There were four gorgeous Italians, Matteo Bernadette Gaia and Elvis who worked their socks off getting everyone involved. Loved them all. Food in hotel was OK, could have been a lot hotter, especially at breakfast, cold fried eggs and bacon not very appetising. Evening meals were much better, nice selection. Waiters in restaurant very attentive and friendly. Pool bar and restaurant were amazing. Waiter service and extensive menu. Lady supervisor was brilliant, efficient and friendly. Evening entertainment was superb, acts were very professional and once again waited on promptly, thanks to all of them. Reception staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, two minor things in room sorted promptly. In all have to say we have been to many hotels around the world but found Valentin to be at top of our list of favourite ones. We have come back from holiday totally happy and refreshed. You honestly could not find a lovelier lot of people who work there any better anywhere. Management must be doing something totally right.

An amazing holiday at this hotel. Food, entertainment and staff excellent. Pool bar/restaurant well worth visiting. Bug thanks to Coralee? the supervisor who was friendly and totally efficient. Although all inclusive was pleasantly surprised that the staff served you at the tables, rather than the need to queue at the bars. Marej excellent at his job providing daily entertainment, water yoga and also popping up as a DJ in the evening. Also thanks to Bennedicter? and the entertainment team who provided fun/games during the day and evenings, including the mini disco/kids club. Evening entertainment included outside acts, singers, acrobats, magicians and all worth watching. Finally big thanks to Tino the penguin for bringing joy to my granddaughter. She loves the fluffy toy character you can purchase from reception.

“Perfect family break and brilliant staff”

We have just returned from a week end of May to beginning of June and had a brilliant time . We traveled as a large family group 8 adults with a 1 and 7 year old . This is the best 4 star iv been to and was perfect for a baby . All staff were so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you . We booked all inclusive which is now premium all inclusive . All drinks were branded and lots of cocktails , also bottles soft drinks and water . The rooms - we had an apartment which was very clean ( some say dated but to me traditional Spanish ) . The maid ‘Fanny’ was fantastic and so friendly . They are located right by the pool which was a god send for nipping back to change the baby . They were spacious and had a hob microwave fridge and large bathroom with a bath. There was a double bed and sofa bed along with a cot in our room and suited us fine. The entertainment- Amazing! !The entertainment team particularly ‘Elvis’ made our groups holiday ! They were brilliant so many activities in the day and our daughter used the kids club which she really enjoyd . There was stuff for adults and for kids all day . Different shows every night and all brilliant . Food- really good quality however our only niggle was the ques for food particularly the fresh meats and pasta they cook while you wait , we found we didn’t have time to Que for the kids and then ourself to all eat together but this is the case with most all inclusive . My only suggestion would be that they have the same meat they cook fresh on the buffet ready so people have the option to get it there or wait for it to be cooked if they prefer. But all food was lovely somthing for everyone and the staff in the restaurant work so hard to give table service for drinks and to clear tables . We ate at the pool bar a lot as we found it easier with the kids and the menu was Brilliant so much choice . Pool- good sized and also a small children’s pool , it was very clean as were all the loungers , we rented one of the canopy beds for €20 for two of the days which was worth it . There was only a few days we struggled to get sunbeds we over heard another visitor mention this to reception and the next day we noticed new beds being delivered and thought this was brilliant ! We also used the indoor pool when it was too warm out for the baby and it was lovely spotless clean !! There is no life guard here and so the outside life guard unlocks it for you and it’s locked again when not in use which was good as children can’t wander in alone. Bars - we used the main bar to watch the entertainment but also went for the premium bar I have seen reviews say it is for adults but when I asked they said children were allowed outside so we did sit on the Terence for an hour with them , both bars premium drinks and table service . Location - it is up a steep hill but we used the free bus which runs every half an hour down to the town it’s not a massive town but some nice bars and shops and the beach is lovely . We took a trip out to the water park which was about €38 euro each way . We really enjoyed our stay and can’t praise the staff enough for how hard working and friendly they all are we would return here as it was the perfect quiet family hotel we were looking for.

We stayed for 1 week at the end of May with our toddler, and overall we had a really good holiday. The hotel and grounds are immaculate and the staff do an amazing job keeping the whole place extremely clean. The food was fantastic and there was always loads of choice. We stayed half board and managed fine, we bought some supplies for the apartment from the supermarket in Son Bou for lunch and made use of the hotel’s beach shuttle bus to get back up the steep hill. The driver was fine about putting our pram in the boot and you didn’t have to put the pram down to go in the boot which was a bonus. We had a good sized fridge, kettle and a toaster in the apartment. We also had a microwave and a hob which we didn’t use. The apartment was very dated in decor, but it was clean and tidy and it had a very comfortable bed. We had a safe in the room but it didn’t work so I’m assuming you had to pay extra for this. We were in an apartment and we were very disappointed that we did not have a bath, after booking an apartment because we had seen they offered a bath. It seems our apartment had an upgraded bathroom which included a lovely shower, but we would have preferred the bath. It was very difficult to put my toddler in the shower as she got so upset, so that was stressful for us. Our apartment was on the ground floor which is what we asked for, however we had not realised that the patio area would be open so our toddler could just wander off so we couldn’t fully relax on the patio. It would be better if there was an enclosed patio area in ground floor apartments for people with young children. The patio had a nice table and chairs and we got the sun in the afternoons. The beach at Son Bou is lovely, crystal clear water. We found there is one accessible point close to the beachside restaurant, which was useful when you had a pram as all the other paths to the beach had steps. There were also some great places to eat in the town. The pool area in the hotel was really nice, with a perfect pool and plenty of beds, people did reserve beds but there was still plenty. There was a kids mini disco every night and this was great. If you want a truly relaxing holiday in a quiet location this is the place to come.
