“Best hotel stay!”

This hotel was honestly the best hotel i’ve ever stayed in!! Feel like the pictures can’t even do it justice. The mini bar was complimentary so every day we got a fully stocked fridge of freebies! (X2 beers, x2 soft drinks and waters) such a nice touch! Room service was really reasonably priced and great quality. The outside pool was a bit chilly (but expected for feb!) and having the inside pool more than made up for it!

Very nice average hotel, good value for money overall but basic all the same. Stayed here for 3 nights last week, I did choose the hotel as we have stayed at several of the Melia hotels however I found this one quite basic. Decent location for getting out and about in Palma however the noise levels from the front of the hotel were horrendous. Street noise from traffic, shouting, trucks, buses and a little building work next door meant keeping your window shut was the only way to peace. I must admit I was offered the balcony room which I think is at the back of the hotel for a few extra euro, I didn't think I needed it but knowing now how noise the front of the hotel was, I would definitely recommend taking the balcony rooms which over look the pool at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was very poor, 2 days out of 3 not enough seats and had to sit in the bar area or outside. Choice was poor, very basic buffet and had to ask for cutlery as this was constantly empty along with juice glasses being empty and having to use plastic beakers. My positives were clean and tidy, very reasonable price and good reception staff.

The good , bed very comfortable. Lots of sunloungers and reasonable price point and reception staff friendly and complimentary soft drinks in room each day. The not so good: Location it really is a good walk into centre cathedral area by foot 25 -30 mins . Santa Catalina area 10-15 min. We were there in March and so not hot and fine for walking but in the summer heat it would be wise to use public transport or taxi and that’s not really what I would want to do on a city break . Taxi rank outside £26 euro to airport. Rooms We could not get room temperature to change despite it being switched on . Again in the heat not sure how you would manage without decent air con . Bathroom amenities, dispensers almost empty couldn’t get liquid soap out . Not the cleanest room lot of dust . Not enough hangers . Glass on balcony at one side very loose didn’t feel structure was safe and secure . Despite having high floor and city view with sea and cathedral in distance it is not the best view as lots built up around hotel and little soundproofing between rooms Overall I would give it 3 stars and would prefer to stay in centre .
