“Really nice hotel”

Nice little hotel with a really friendly staff! Room was clean and cozy, location really good and breakfast nice. Our room was on the street side, so there was quite a bit noise at night (garbage trucks, ambulances etc.), so maybe not more than 1 or 2 nights.. but we had a lovely stay!

We stayed 5 nights. Room was cramped for space. We had a balcony but could not sit out on it as too small to put the one chIr on it. We stayed 5 nights. Room was cramped for space. We had a balcony but could not sit out on it as too small to put the one chIr on it. Room was on the street side and very very noisy until late with people then garbage trucks cleaned. The maid sprayed water on the same sheets to get creases out and not changed for 5 nights stay. Air conditioning very poor. The breakfast was amazing staff very accommodating and friendly. For 1200 euros not really up to scratch. Maybe a one night stay ??

“No air-con on in guestrooms.”

We booked a superior room, asking for a high floor and quiet room. On arrival we were quite pleased with the location as it is in the centre. What they forget to mention is the fact that , even though it listed as a feature, the air-con is not on in the guestrooms! You can open the balcony doo... more

We booked a superior room, asking for a high floor and quiet room. On arrival we were quite pleased with the location as it is in the centre. What they forget to mention is the fact that , even though it listed as a feature, the air-con is not on in the guestrooms! You can open the balcony doors but the street noise is very loud! When I asked about the air-con I was told ‘maybe tomorrow, maybe not. It is unusually warm for this time of year’. Not any help when you are trying to sleep and your room is boiling hot!

Walls like paper Mediocre breakfast Overall a small property with no main lobby or general lounge/public areas. Small breakfast cafe attached, with street access, which is open to the public also. The location is definitely the best selling point but that's traded against the street noise where it was quite usual to get a loud bin collection at 2am and hear groups of people chatting/shouting/singing at all hours throughout the night ...not Brits for a change! It was a fantastic location for walking to the restaurants, shops and train station. Hard to beat there.
