This was already our second time at Sunrise Holiday Resort, and we absolutely loved it once again! It truly was a wonderful experience from start to finish. What makes this place really special are the animators – they are simply amazing! So kind, friendly, and full of energy, they brighten up every single day. You can really feel that they care about the guests and put their heart into what they do. There are so many different programs to choose from, both inside and outside the hotel, so it’s impossible to get bored. There was always something fun or exciting happening. The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious – everything you need for a perfect holiday. We will definitely come back again! 🌴✨

We have just returned from an 11 night holiday to Sunrise Resort Hurghada From the moment we arrived, the staff at the hotel were excellent, quick check in and bags taken to our room. We stayed in room 349 a lovely sea/pool view room with a large balcony, which included a sun lounger. Initially we thought the room was a bit dated, but it suited us perfectly as it was so close to everything. I understand the rooms are being gradually updated, but it served us well. The buffet restaurant is very good, with a large selection of hot and cold foods. Even had a Sunday roast with Yorkshire puddings, now that was nice. Fresh eggs, omelette cooked in front of you daily. Evening meals had a good selection with themed menus. Also available plenty of pasta dishes. We had an excellent meal at the Steak Restaurant, food was amazing. Lunched at Nasaya restaurant by the lagoon, again freshly cooked and plenty of choices available. Sunbeds, plenty of them with a good amount of space, you get a red flag from the Towel desk so you are not bothered by any sellers. Quick note: people are up early around 6am bagging their favourite sunbeds. The waiters come round all the time ensuring you have plenty of drinks. It's very well organised. Animation staff all very friendly and do a good job. We took a taxi to Hurghada Marina, enjoyed a walk around, and on impulse took a boat trip. This was on Seascape, a submarine trip out to see the coral and fish. This was a highlight of ours, the trip was for 2 hrs, excellent value for money at around £15 per person. Also there was an opportunity to snorkel. We loved it, coral and fish were amazing. Back to the hotel, it's the staff that make this hotel as good as it is, as I have said all of them, in every bar, restaurant, reception are excellent. We had a really good break. Hotel isn't far from the airport either. Quick mention about visas required. They prefer US dollars, or £28pp on a card. Places take Euros, or English coins. We took egyption dollars but changed it to euros. So, would we visit again: yes definitely. We met a lot of people that return a couple of times a year, I wasn't surprised. Quick mention about access to the sea the other side of the lagoon, there are steps that you can walk down to snorkel, we saw a lot of fish, including a few lion fish which were fascinating to watch. Lifeguards are on hand, another excellent service. So, great hotel, fantastic staff, good location, comfortable rooms, plenty of choice of food. You won't go wrong. Well done Sunrise Hurghada.

This is our second visit to this hotel and location. As per previous visit welcomed by reception staff and was given cooling flannel plus drink. Then show to room by corsair staff. My mum had the premier room which she was very happy with. We had a standard room. But it had single beds, but the following day moved us to a room with double bed. As last year all the restaurants staff recognised us and made us feel welcome and we introduced our mum who they looked after as very old. The bar staff also remember us in the sports bar and as we arrived at bar two white wines plus two bottles of water was waiting for us. The bar above reception the staff were very welcoming and again remembered our drinks. Pool bar the same service cannot fault this again. Pool attendant again cannot fault very welcoming and sorted out our sunbeds with cushions and help my mum with anything she needed like moving her sunbed into the shade for her. He kept the pool very clean and put all rubbish and empty glasses on a tray to go back to bar. Plus bar staff also delivered drinks to your sunbed area. Again fully recommend this adults only all inclusive resort, and cannot wait to see all of your welcoming staff next year in April 2027. Thank you again.

I don’t often write reviews even though I travel a lot, but felt I needed to for this stay, as the impression I got from reviews before visiting was different to what I sadly experienced. Good points Having the lagoon to swim in was lovely and a real plus point with beautiful views out from my room overlooking this. Balconies of the deluxe rooms are of good size and nice to have a sun lounger. The majority of staff were really friendly especially housekeeping, stopping to chat every day with me. Food was generally good and lots to choose from. Bad points Very loud Construction/refurb work going on all day every day of my stay until 9.30pm at night with no notice given that this would be the case. Circular saws and banging. It was incredibly loud in my room and they really shouldn’t have people staying in the rooms in close proximity. As mentioned the majority of staff were absolutely lovely but I found reception and guest services to be unfriendly. For example, I requested to have breakfast in my room one day and the lady from guest services responded to this by saying, can you not make it to the restaurant. I was quite taken aback. Entertainment was good quality but if you wanted to have a quiet evening and spend it in your room or sat out on your balcony, this was not possible regardless of where your room was. It was incredibly loud and went on until quite late every night. I booked direct through their website which meant the promise of a VIP experience, I’m afraid to say this was not what happened, which is such a shame.
